Can you explain the process. Do you turn on your cruise control and then turn on the Comma? Which Comma do you have? No, you don't need the button.

So is your lane sense button above your radio showing that its on? I didn't know if you had a Comma 3 or a Comma 2.There's only one comma that you can get. The comma is running the whole time as a dashcam but isn't activated until you turn on ACC using the button and set a speed. Then it takes over steering while the factory ACC controls the gas and brake.
I have a 3. The 2 is obsolete, but still works in a limited capacity. When the Comma is active the light on the button is off. It's weird because when the light is on LKAS is off. You can use the button to disable comma steering while using ACC. But factory LKAS functionality is replaced with the Comma. So is your lane sense button above your radio showing that its on? Sorry I'm so full of questions that seem redundant.
How difficult was it to install? Are you happy with it compared to the factory LKAS?I have a 3. The 2 is obsolete, but still works in a limited capacity. Well, there is a huge difference between the two. LKAS just nudges you back in the lane. The comma is completely hands free. There is a limit to the turning though. So, depending on some curves, you need to help it turn. How difficult was it to install? Are you happy with it compared to the factory LKAS?
