Cold Air from Window Defroster with AC set to Face only

Hi everyone. I believe I have the same issue. Since I live in Poland and we have winter recently the cold air blowing without control is super annoying. It is coming from both side and windshield defrosters, and it is still cold despite the fact that AC is set for 23 Celsius degrees.
Anyone knows something about solution for this issue ?

I’m having this issue as well. Is there still no fix?

Made a cover out of some cheap rubber floor mats. My first attempt so not too pretty. Had to make two and glue them together. I’ll see how it works. It may need to be wider to block everything. After sitting in the sun, it should settle a bit. I’ll keep you posted

After reading this and everyone having the problem, wouldn't it be considered "normal"?

It shouldn’t be. But FCA doesn’t acknowledge that they screwed up once again.

Drove for 20 minutes this morning. No condensation so far!

I know this is a fairly old thread, but I wanted to note that I am experiencing this very same issue with my 2024 big horn. I bought it used with 22k miles. Humid mornings with cooler temperatures in south Louisiana.

My 21 has done this so much that I've even considered trying to hack the HVAC programming to see if I could stop it.

This may not work for everyone due to your sensitivity to summer weather, but I just turn up my auto temp setting to around 73-75 and there is no more condensation. Because I am more closely matching the outside temp. The cause is a differential temp and humidity of the air blowing on the inside windshield from the HVAC system vs. the outside temp and humidity. For me the condensation only happens in the morning in humid conditions when you are trying to cool the cabin to a temp less than around 71-72. Sometimes I get it in the rain when the outside temps are > 75-80.

I'll have to experiment a bit more, but it seems like mine starts to fog up once I get close to setpoint.
Like the dampers are opening slightly.
I wouldn't mind it doing some bi-level between the dash vents and foot vents, but certainly not happy with the defrost vent
