Chirp/Squeak Noise

Just picked up a 2020 Rebel 1500, this squeak/chirp was present from the very beginning. It's small quick bumps that trigger it... weird that it's the caliper, but based on where the direction of the sound is coming from, that makes sense.
If you slightly ride the brakes while going over that same bump, it will probably not chirp. Thats what I noticed with my 2019 Rebel. Just "play" in pads to calipers when brakes not applied. Turn stereo up or add exhaust system...lol

I have this on my new 2020 BH. Ill wait for my first oil change to take it in and see if they can do something with the calipers.

I've already gotten used to it though. It bothered me the first week and now the third week I don't really care too much. It has also started on the rear passenger side too.

Lol, yeah it barely bothers me, especially with the music going ;-)

Long time reader, first time poster here.

Just purchased a 2020 Ram 1500, Big Horn-Night Edition on July 10 and I have been plaqued with the "chirp" since about 200 miles when I first noticed it.

Took it to the dealer on Monday evening and it was supposedly fixed by the dealer today in what they said was sway bar links that needed grease along with suspension bolts that were supposedly loose. I picked up the truck and before I even got out of the parking lot, I heard the "chirp" again coming from the driver's side. Unfortunately, the service department was closed and ended up speaking with a sales manager who I took for a ride and he heard the noise for himself. Needless to say, I left the truck behind with hopes of the problem being corrected tomorrow.

I guess we'll wait and see....

Yeah. Not sway bars. You’d think they’d know that by now...

So my truck(2020 Ram 1500, Bighorn NE) was in the shop for 4 days last week and I can happily report that there are no squeaks at all now. From speaking with the Service Manager, the noise was coming from the upper control arm, which needed tightened, according to him. So far so good and hopefully no more warranty work needed.

the dealer fixed my problem it was the brake pads being lose. so far I haven't heard anything

Another update... the infamous squeak has returned. I picked up the truck from the dealership on August 7, 2020 and not even a month later, the squeak has returned. Here in Western PA, our roads just flat out suck and with some of the uneven, cold patched, and bumpy roads that I drive on, the squeak rears its ugly head each time.

I left a message on the Service Manager's voicemail on Monday afternoon and still haven't had a response yet from him.

Here is a link that someone posted on YouTube which is the exact same noise mine is...

Ha! Same as mine. I've named my truck cricket because of all the chirps!

I'm taking it when oil needs changing.

Looking for some advice....

So I've been getting jacked around since August 4th with this squeak issue and I've just been getting kicked down the road by the Service Manager and haven't had any luck with the GM yet.... does anyone have any contact information or suggestions who to go above the GM?

I apologize for the frustration, @Woody8740. I am more than willing to escalate a case on your behalf so that at the least, you and your dealer have the additional support of a specialist in ensuring all resources are exhausted to address your concerns.

Had this issue as soon as I drove mine off the lot. Dealer replaced front left sway bar link under warranty and noise went away. Just had my 56000km inspect complate today and they are replacing front left again and now right side too

Just thought I'd share

Just wanted to check in and see if you had any updates? Have a 2021 Big Horn NE with 900 miles. Just noticed the same noise coming from the front driver side. Hope your issue was resolved.

I went to a second dealership after getting Ram Cares involved and had the front brake pads replace approximately 2,000 miles ago and I have not had any squeak since. From my understanding, there has been an ongoing issue with the anti-rattle clips on the original brake pads. Sorry for the delay in replying. If you also need me to send you a copy of my service receipt, I will gladly share it with you.

Anybody else notice a chirp/squeak noise coming from the rear of vehicle when hitting bumps or any uneven terrain (road or off-road)? I believe its coming from the driver's side but I may be wrong. Hoping its a simple fix like lube or re-torque of suspension parts. Please let me know if this has happened to you and what the fix may be.
Damn birds...always getting into the suspension parts 😂
Kidding aside...I'd take spray the crap out of the suspension with some Silicon spray to see if that makes a difference...
