Center console conversion?

Me and member rlc2020 are in the process of doing the swap now. He’s got my console and I’m getting his seat. Apparently he’s gotten the console in but it took some wiring work. I’ll let him chime in on his efforts. We are swapping front carpets as well as the other obvious hardware because the carpeting is different in each setup. Hoping to be able to do my center seat install by early next week.

First thanks for all the information you provided on this. Do you know if a 2019 ram DSNDT or interchangeable? I have a DS and I found seats in a consul out of a DT the new body style and I don’t want to buy it until I know that it work

Did you ever buy the Laramie with the center console? I am just finalizing the purchase of a Laramie with the bench seat in black, and had planned on doing the conversion.

I have a bench seat i took out of my 2019 Big Horn. I took it out after driving about 750 miles. It is brand new. I am getting ready to put it on ebay in a couple of days. I had bought a console from a member here who shipped it to me. If your interested let me know. Asking $400

I’m looking for a good condition bench seat if you have just purchased your truck it’s even better but used is fine too as long as it’s pet and smoke free truck. The ds and dt are different cabs and consoles. So they are not interchangeable.

hello,im doing the seat to console swap. the console i bought came out of a 19 ram 1500 i am putting it in a 19 ram 2500 bighorn but the mounting brackets that came with the console does not line up with the holes in the truck for the rear bracket.i have not cut the carpet yet to see if the front matches. has any one who has done the swap had this problem? tks.

I just did the seat to console conversion and I had one wire I had to add a small piece to In order to reroute the plug to the front. I used the Original usb plug that powers up the left side dash ports and everything works perfectly.

YES. We have 3 kids so if anyone wants to come with us (a friend, grandma, etc.) we use the middle seat. We wouldn't buy a truck without one.

If anybody needs help with this transition, message me and I will try to give you the most detailed info for a no brainer swap. But I can only offer the bench to console side of the story, console to bench is a whole different game!

Please let me know the ins and outs. I just bought a Laramie with a bench, and want to go to a console.
