In iOS 26 carplay is pretty much unusable on UC5, somehow "Edit Pages" comes up and covers bottom of the screen, so it can't be used.
@RamCares please take a look.

That’s exactly why we test betasIf you have iOS 26, that is in beta stage. 18.5 is the current iOS software.
Exactly, those of us testing the beta are catching & reporting these bugs early so hopefully there’ll be a fix for Uconnect before iOS 26 is officially released.That’s exactly why we test betas
Wonder how it behaves on 2025 14" screenExactly, those of us testing the beta are catching & reporting these bugs early so hopefully there’ll be a fix for Uconnect before iOS 26 is officially released.
I can also confirm that it’s most likely an issue with Uconnect & not iOS as CarPlay works as expected in my wife’s Mazda.
Use the split screen mode on the “Home” tab. I’ll try this tomorrow. Thanks for posting the video!
But how to turn off Smart Display Zoom if I can't access settings?????
I dont have split screen for CarPlay, only full screenUse the split screen mode on the “Home” tab. I’ll try this tomorrow. Thanks for posting the video!
Mine never had that problem with iOS26 messing around in settings. Smart zoom did cause the issue OP stated. Disable it and it works fine.Come on guys, just go to settings on carplay and turn off smart display zoom under display. That is what I did and works just like before.

I did not know you could do that. That was much easier than creating a split screen. Thanks for the pro tip.Depending on what screen you are in on carplay, swipe left or right to show your app screen. select settings, display and turn off smart zoom.
wow, so not even Carplay wallpaper?I have a 2025 Limited with the 14.4 screen.
IOS26 only produces a black screen when I hit the CarPlay button. No ability to go to settings.
