I know this is an old post, but I have been having the same issues with my 22 Ram since I bought it, and they keep giving me the deer in the head lights look like they haven't heard about this issue. First at the dealer when I bought it and now at another dealer after getting the third recall addressed.
I do have a couple of thoughts and wondered if anyone has tried either one.
1) First, I'm wondering when Calibration Fails is the truck is trying to calibrate to a trailer. Has anyone done that to see or has seen the message go away permanently.
2) Today I realized that one of the bags left in my truck had TPMS valves for trailer wheels. I was wondering if the truck was seeing them and trying to calibrate to them thinking it has the trailer behind it? I watched a video about it and there is a procedure that must be performed when it is first hooked up. I removed them out of the truck just to see if that's the trigger. Next time I drive it I will find out. Fingers crossed.
