Hey everyone, new to the forums, been reading for about a week. Just purchased my 2020 ram 1500 sport so no ORP. Looking to get a slight lift and level with the best ride possible. Gonna be running 22x10 -25 Hostile Alphas and 33x12.50 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Would love some opinions

Option #1-
Bilstien 5100’s up front on setting 5 with ORP springs
Bilstien 5100’s in the rear with ORP springs for 1” lift

Option #2-
Mopar 2” lift front with fox shocks and ORP springs
Rear fox shocks that come with Mopar kit with ORP springs
*will not be installing rear lift spacer due to reviews I’ve read here that says it maintained quite a large rake.

Wondering if Option 2 is going to work at all and which would be a preferred setup with best ride quality in your opinions. Also any opinions if I’ll need a new UCA for Option 1? Any help would be appreciated!

Just do 5100's set to #5 to clear those 33's and call it a day.
or if you want the nicer Fox stuff then Mopar 2" lift.
No need to add the ORP components.

If you are just looking to clear the tires/wheels and don't off-road, save the money for something else.

If he chooses the Mopar lift he will need the ORP front springs if he truly wants it to be level though. I’m with you, just do the 5100’s and call it a day.

Do you think if I leveled my truck with the 5100's, I could fit 305/55r20 20x9+0? I'm having a hard time figuring out what the biggest tire I could do in a 20x9+0 or a 18x9+0 with leveling via 5100's

You can fit 305/55r20 on stock suspension. Many have done it with success. So, yes, easily with the 5100s

Anybody know how much of a difference the load range “E” tires made on ride and fuel economy
Hesitant to put the load range E on my truck
Chances of me going off-road are slim
But leveling the truck so looking to put new rims and tires on it

Why, the Mopar Lift with the TSB should correct the small complaint from previous sold kits.

Nice difference, both in ride harshness and mpg drop.
If you don't need them, you will certainly pay for the looks.

305-45-22 or 305-55-20 gives you the same look, minimal spec difference in size.

Even with the new lift, it still maintains factory rake does it not? The lift is both 2” front and 2” rear if I’m not mistaken. I have about 2.5” rake that I’d like to sit closer to level, that would be the reason for the ORP springs.

If I’m not mistaken the original lift kit was only lifting the front about 1 1/4 inches, that was the reason for the TSB

It does not level it. still produces rake, just not as much as before. Almost everyone I have read on here with the new kit still needed the ORP springs to level it.

What options would I have if I'm looking for a 33-34" by 11-11.5" R20 that would not be E rated? I don't tow heavy or go anywhere offroad besides mud and sand.

There are plenty of discussions in the wheels/tires forum where you could start your research ;)

There are tons of options in the a 275/60r20 (~33") size that are not LT load range E. Nitto Terra Grappler G2 in 275/65r20 is the only ~34" all-terrain I know of. There are obviously some other options if you go with wider tires, but I haven't investigated them. Presumably the wider tire would increase rolling resistance and potentially impact fuel economy.

Let’s not derail this thread, eh? Following the 5100 discussion not tires thank you.

Edit: not trying to call anyone out. All questions are good questions! Just asking to keep it on topic as these threads can get away and this is a good one!

nitto ridge grapplers LT305/55R20 F 125/122Q are 33.23" x 12.44 wide. I run them on my truck stock suspension with a +18 wheel offset without any issues. (they will rub if I turn wheel aggressive @ full crank ) Love my Nittos!
