My 2020 Limited with 4k miles sucks a$$ on MPG.
12.2MPG on yesterdays fill-up. Mostly in town, short trips, but still it's really bad.

Just took another trip from South Jersey to NC and back (all hand calc).
1st tank: 17.27mpg - 100% highway cruise set between 64mph - 77mph (4Auto was on as it was snowy/icy for most of this tank)
2nd tank: 16.54mpg - 75% highway cruise around 60mph, the rest driving around Greensboro, NC
3rd tank: 17.46mpg - 100% highway cruise set between 60mph - 77mph
4th tank: 17.26mpg - 100% highway cruise set between 64mph - 77mph

Ran 89oct or higher with 2 adults and one baby, not much weight in the bed.
Thats pretty good for 3.92’s.

2019 @ 30k get 16.5 commuting and long freeway trips. I'm a major lead foot, but no stop and go traffic. Got 18+ with lighter stock 18" wheels and terrible Bridgestone tires.

I was averaging about 12MPG on my 2019 Limited. I'm right at 13MPG on my 2021 Limited eTorque. I also live on a big *** hill so I will always lose whatever gains I made going home.

I dont “see” just getting 12. Too many variables to count but still, thats 50% less than Ive seen with mine.

Mpgs will always be something to puzzle over, well until we get forced out of int combustion engined vehicles (probably this current 30-50 yr old generation is the end of that run).

Do you use Active Cruise a lot?
What's you average highway MPH ?
I do use the cruise, but I don't have active cruise. Going 55 mph with no head wind it bounces between 22 - 24. at 45mph 27 to 30.

I've done the 55 mph 22-24, don't believe ever done the 45 mph and 27-30. Best tank was 24 mpg.
Sounds pretty good. I'm around 18 right now since running errands this weekend. Mostly from leaving the truck running while going into stores, etc.

Mine went from 12.9 to 12.4 yesterday after taking my kid to baseball practice... I may need to get someone to tow my truck up the hill every time I go home to get the kind of fuel efficiencies you guys are!

I know someone will disagree with me, and maybe I haven’t used it enough. But I’m not a fan of active cruise. Slows you down fast when too close , when a car in front of you moves it floors it! Not sure how this can save gas, but maybe? Not not a fan of crude overall. I find I get the best mpg when I drive with my foot and become one with the truck and the road🤣!

Haha. Never had a vehicle that drives itself. Guess that’s a good thing!

Totally agree. It is nice when you want to kind of enjoy letting the truck do its thing...but not as fuel efficient as letting off the gas to slow down.

2021 Limited Crew Cab with 6.4 bed 5.7 Hemi with ETorque, 3.92 gears 3.5" lift with 22x12s and 33s. Getting 12.5-13.5ish

I have 8000 miles on the truck currently.

I had a 19 Laramie Crew Cab 5.7 Hemi (no Etorque) 3.21 gears with 5.7 bed, same wheels, but only a leveling kit and I was averaging 16-17mpg.

Did alot of idling this weekend, including waiting 45 minutes to pick up my kid. MPG went down from 17.8 to 16.4

One of the reasons that your truck is not meeting the fuel economy of the EPA window sticker.

They do not use ethanol blended gasoline in there test.

5. When I buy gas at the pump, it typically contains about 10% ethanol and other additives. Does EPA use a gasoline-ethanol blend for fuel economy testing? No, EPA’s test fuel does not currently contain any ethanol or other oxygenates. However, EPA does account for the impact of low-level ethanol blends in our fuel economy estimates. Ethanol has a lower energy density than gasoline—about 1/3 less energy per gallon. That means a car operating on 10% ethanol would require about 3% more fuel to travel one mile than a car operating on gasoline and thus have about 3% lower fuel economy. EPA currently reduces all fuel economy test values by about 10% to account for ethanol in gasoline and other factors such as wind, hills, and road conditions. Later this decade, EPA is phasing in a requirement to change our federal emissions test fuel to include 10% ethanol by volume.
