Dealer looked, and said it's normal. And quite frankly, it drives me nuts, and its inconvenient and a pain in my *** to go back and forth and leave my truck there for 3 days while they do nothing.
So far, I'm aware there are 1) revised rear pads 2) shims and 3) some half-*** bracket kit with a hose clamp. Is this suppose to be the official fix?
I'm curious, has anyone bought like an off-the-self aftermarket brake pad, and has that helped with the noise?
I don't know if anyone has racked up enough mileage to need a rear brake pad replacement yet, but I'm curious if I just buy a set of aftermarket pads if that would help at all.
I've been researching this for nearly a year now, and there doesn't seem to be a definitive "this fixes this".
