Add mine to this list too. My 2019 Limited driver’s seat has this annoying click when I accelerate or decelerate too. Sometimes happens when I slowly go over a speed bump. Feels like it’s coming from the seat back somewhere in the middle towards the right side. It’s driving me nuts.

I had a noise in the passenger seat on mine. It was the seat module came loose from under the seat. I clicked it back in and it went away. May check it.

I'm also experiencing the clicking sound in the driver seat. It only happens periodically, and usually when accelerating. But sometimes it goes days without occurring.

Add that to the interior deceleration vibration that occurs when between 15-0 mph that sounds like it's coming from the center console/center of the truck.

2017 Ram Sport 25K miles, so not just a 5th gen Ram issue.

Hi ATXRamSport & Briansroy,

I'm sorry to hear that you both are experiencing this concern. If you have not done so already, we recommend having this diagnosed by your dealers as they are in the best position to diagnose and determine the appropriate course of action. If you decide to proceed in this manner, we can escalate cases on your behalf to connect you with case specialists who will be able to work alongside your dealers to find a potential solution.

We're just a PM away if this would be of interest.

I have thg same annoying clicking sound but it's coming from my passenger seat which is a manual adjustment seat. Not getting it from my power adjusting driver's seat. Only happens when a passenger is in it and when making turns. I can duplicate the noise by rocking the seat left to right. Had a look under the seat while this is being done and it appears it is coming from the seat rail. Had it in at the dealer and they said there's nothing unusual. This is not normal, they just don't want to do anything about it. It drive me nuts. Thought I could fix it myself but I don't think so. Hope Ram comes out with a fix but I wont hold my breath.
I had exactly what you described. I had to check and see if I wrote the comment lol. I finally got it fixed. Took it and they had to order a new passenger seat frame. It did the trick. No more clunky passenger seat.

I have just noticed that my passenger seat is clicking and making noise when the truck is accelerating, decelerating, turning or going over bumps. It's only when the seat is occupied. It also would not return from the reclined position a few times without some serious fiddling around with the manual lever. Making a service appointment to have it looked at.

Anybody ever get a fix for this issue?
My drivers seat was making this sound and my dealer diagnosed it as a problem with the lumbar controller. They replaced it last week and it’s been quiet. Fingers crossed but I’m probably screwed now that I said it was fixed.

Does anyone else have an annoying clicking sound in there drivers seat, At first I didn't notice it, but now I know its there, its all I ever hear, drives me crazy, I know I need to see the dealer, but there so backed up, that there is a chance I will be with out a car for a few days until the get around to looking at it...
Yes absolutely the same sound. I think it’s in the rails. When my seat is set higher it definitely sounds off. I even had my wife drive so I could record it while laying down in the floor. Even though the dealership heard the sound from the recording they couldn’t get it to sound off when they had it because it doesn’t happen all the time. I feel if I keep the seat lower with the center of gravity the sound doesn’t happen as often so I sacrifice comfort. Pretty sad

2019 bighorn with the same problem in both front seats. Seriously frustrating issue. I came from a 2014 Tundra that had zero issues (other than the back row was too small for our growing family). Starting to regret buying this truck

Hello I have a 2012 3500 that has started this clicking sound under the drivers seat, it sounds like a relay clicking on and off, only seems to happen on cornering right or over bumpy roads, I have checked to see if I can duplicate it with the truck not moving and i hear nothing, I have pushed on the seat to see if anything moves and still nothing, there are two modules under the seat and a yellow, in color, sensor? I know what the modules do but what about the yellow sensor, anyone know what it is for, thank you for your time.

I had the same issue in the driver’s seat. Turned out the lumbar system within the seat had to be replaced.
