Use the vLinker MC and the windows version. You need to enter the kilometer value that is equivalent to the miles that you want displayed.
Alfaobd can’t change the hours on the 5th gen rams.
I've read it can work with a wired interface with Windows, no?

Yes, the EX and SX work but they are a pain getting connected.
I was just specifically telling him what to use from the items he already had to get the mileage correction done in the easiest way.

Ok cool. I read the idle and engine hours can be done with a wired adapter but don't know anyone who's actually done it.

I just finished the OEM LED headlight swap with Jimmy07's harness. Does anyone have a list of settings that need to be changed? I changed things that seemed logical, just missing the driver's side parking lamp and signature light.

Edit: Got the settings from Jimmy07. Still don't have a driver's side parking light or signature when turning the lights on. Signature light will come on when truck is started/in run position. Swap the lights side-to-side and same results on the driver's side.

It can, I ended up using the EX to make my changes. Once I did it in km everything went through just fine.

Oddly my range on the new speedometer went up to 1999 miles of range once the mileage was finally updated though. I switched from mpg to kilometers/litres and back again in the radio settings and it's been steadily dropping down to a more realistic amount of range. Every upgrade I've done on this truck has been weird and created some sort of issue.

My actual speedometer is still 3-5 mph off compared to GPS. If I pull up the digital speedo in the cluster, it's only 1 mph off from GPS (but still 3-5 mph off from the actual speedo). Does that require just messing with the tire size?

I have stock 22's and my speedometer is exactly like yours - digital speedometer accurate and gauge off about 4mph. Did changing the tire size do the trick? I noticed there's a few settings that can be changed regarding the speedometer... type of speedometer, speedometer range max scale, ect.

Please don't jump on me. I am curious about the legality of changing the odometer (mileage) reading. Is that something that should be done?

It is only illegal to misrepresent the odometer reading when selling the vehicle. Otherwise, you can do whatever you want with the odometer reading while you own it.

I swapped clusters on a truck and approached a dealer about making the new cluster match the original mileage and you’d have thought I was asking them to commit grand larceny. They walked away from the counter and refused to talk to me any further.

Legally I can swap the cluster, I just need to disclose it to the next owner. I ended up totaling the truck so it was a non-issue.
