Aftermarket Amp and 12” sub install in a HK LIMITED!

Pardon my ignorance when it comes to the ANC system but what exactly is the problem you are having or anticipating?

My limited understand of the system is that it generates a sound played through the amp/ speakers to offset or mask road n engine noise.

So if that sound is amplified by a aftermarket amp what would be the problem?

You would have to pull the pins at the amp. I'm assuming the other connector in the wiring diagram is close to the microphones on a pigtail.

Instead of being the equal balancing sound, the amplified signal would be louder than the noise it's offsetting. That makes it so you can hear the cancellation part of the noise, which is low frequency.

Did ypu added an aftermarket subwoofer to it?

I replaced all the speakers amd added a 15” speaker with the amp. What the ANC is doing is amplifying the signal sent to the woofer. Even when mu radio is off, my woofer is sounding due to the signal from the ANC.

From what I gathered, the only way to fix it is removing the microphone wire. If you have anything different, please let me know.

PAC now has the AMPPRO4 available for the truck, it costs a few bucks but will get a super clean and flat signal, as well as by-pass ANC.

I'll text my rep to confirm, but the harness behind the 12.1" is the same as the '13 8.4.

I Used a PAC AmpPRO 4 (AP4-CH41) to install the aftermarket amp and it works great.
2019 Ram Limited 12.1 screen.

My box was intricate because that's a 12" sub and we needed .85 cubic feet. a 10" or 2 8" subs requires less airspace and doesn't need to go past the middle bracket like mine does.

Do you think that i could put (2) 12" TW3's if the box went all the way to the other side? I seen lots of boxes that look sweet, but I still want to be able to get to the compartments on the floor.

, update to issue with back feed coming through sub woofer. This is the pin under the seat. These wires need to be removed from and pin. Then plug pin back into module. All the Acitve mics will be dis connected.

I am getting ready to add an amp and sub to my truck with the HK. Similar to what I did in my previous trucks I want to just clip the wires going to the factory sub and splice in RCAs. Does anybody know on the 19s what the + and - wires are for the sub?
