Have you read the first few posts? Most of us use AlfaOBD, but a few have used JScan. I don't know if JScan will do it as I don't use it.

Had to trade in my leased white 2020 bighorn so I removed the passive entry. New Laramie has passive already so I have kit for sale. Not sure how much it's worth yet but LMK if anyone is interested. I also have the bypass and alfaobd if anyone is in the Milwaukee Wi area and needs to use it

Is this still available and how much?

New guy here, just picked up my 2023 Big Horn today.

The crew here, and Jimmy in particular it seems, have a gigantic library of knowledge. Thanks all, I'm absorbing as best I can and have been reading a lot since I started shopping 5th RAMs. Amazing content here.

It never even occurred to me that the truck wouldn't have passive entry TBH, I didnt even check for it like a dummy. I have had multiple FCA vehicles going back to 2014 and they all have it.

Anyone have a recommend in the Charlotte/Union NC area for installation?

If you are going to use the numbers below to order parts, double check them as things can change over time, so it's going to be up to you to verify you're getting the correct part when ordering. If you find a mistake please let me know so I can correct it.

5th Gen 1500 Handle and Cap Part Numbers
These should work on any of the 2019 and newer 5th gen 1500 trucks. Harnesses are going to be more specific based on your options, or you can just add the 2 wires and plugs to your existing stuff and save a good bit of money.

The following is a breakdown of the parts you will need to assemble your own 2-wire harnesses for the doors, as well as the rear antenna. All of the connectors and terminals can be found at Mouser or Digikey, except for the Yazaki stuff.

Yazaki parts are hard to find without ordering minimum quantities. One option is to call SMD Inc, and see if they’ll send you free samples (2 connectors, 4 terminals).

I already have passive entry but it stopped working on the passenger side. I replaced the handle with no success but I believe the cap should fix the issue. Does the magnet come standard in the cap if I purchase that piece by itself?

Connector at handle you need connector and 2 pins at door jam two pins. So 4 pins each type and 2 connector for 2 doors. For tailgate one connector and 2 pins each type each end
