I've had my ram 5 months and almost at 7500 miles.
I had multiple tranny pan oil leak issues, coil pack misfire issues check engine light, back up cam issues, leather seat wrinkle issues, squeak suspension issues, and backing up breaks squeaking issues... I almost filed lemon law

The issues that still exist is the suspension squeak(that I can only hear with radio off and windows down running over bumpy road) then the only backing up/reverse big squeal coming from brakes or rotors ! Even with windows up and radio on! Idk wtf that is..

The other issues have been fixed... leather seats have broke in and I have very little wrinkle now.. oddly

I really love the truck and get tons of compliments daily. It rides good, luxury, all opinions, feels tough, not fuel efficient at all (12-13mpg)but I enjoy driving it so the fuel isn't a problem to pay for..

Also the 12 inch screen is bad a s s, the LED lighting is Kick a s S and also all the room on the 4 door is awesome

I'm just giving you guys a update to the followers that have been keeping up or those new members that want info on the ram.. I galdly give feed back and if u guys have questions feel free to ask/post

I'm starting to hate this truck.... While I love it when it works as expected, Im tired of bringing it to the dealer to fix it.

Already had to have the backup camera replaced, a door handle replaced from paint peeling... Its got a relentless annoying squeak coming from the the underhood cowl hitting the wiper arms that they cant fix... My AC didnt work the other day... and the back up camera malfunctioned during a morning commute. Plus two recalls... And when they fixed the adjustable pedal... it's now squeaking.

If they can fix it, I'll be happy... but honestly sick of it.

Do you have a picture of where the transmission was leaking from?

4K miles and no issues. Getting abou 16.9 mpg combined city/highway miles. That’s the commute to and from work.

Love this truck. Best riding vehicle I’ve ever owned. Small and moderate road imperfections? She kind of floats over them. Even over the really bad pot holes, etc., while you can feel them, it’s not jarring. But I’m coming from a ‘15 Mustang GT that’s lowered and has stiff, after market suspension mods. So this truck is like riding on a cloud.

Following this general forum for months now - am planning on ordering a Limited when the new tailgate comes out. That said, posts like this get my attention and I "hark" back and consider an F150 every now and then !

Every make and model has its issues, but i laugh when I read that a leaky oil pan inspires anyone to move towards Ford. Go read the Raptor forum. When they came out in 2017, there were numerous reports of leaking transmissions. Fords plastic oil pan was heating up, warping and leaking. They finally resolved the issue by switching back to metal oil pans. There are many Fords with the leaking pan. One report here would not make me look elsewhere.

This TSB should remedy your brake issue.

4 months, 7300 miles, no issues. Hope yours get resolved by a good dealer. (except the brake squeal, I do get that at least once per week when I back down my drive in the morning, usually after rain, and only 1 time each of the days it happens.)

Have you had the dealer perform the TSB?

The rams also have poly/plastic tranny pans

Keep us updated on your dealer visit. If we can be of any assistance, send us a direct message. We'd be glad to help.
