Yes you will tap into the pac harness. The instructions will have the wire color codes and you will tap in on the back pair of speakers. No need to cut the factory wiring. Also the carpet will be split under the driver's seat so you can run the wires with out needing to take out the seat.Do you have a pic of the PAC harness under the ANC and where you tapped the wires? I'm guessing I tap into the speaker wires that plug into the ANC then connect them to the PAC-CH01and plug it back into the ANC?? I got everything on the way so it will be easier to figure out when Its in my hands. First time doing car audio so forgive me for sounding like an idiot. I ordered the PAC-APH-CH01 but hopefully it will be plug and play still.
It would definitely be an improvement as they did not include any sound deadening material but do not know that the cost or time is worth it.For those of you that put in an aftermarket sub, I have seen a few that did dynomat behind the seats. How much of a difference did it make?

I used some of the screws that came with the speakers for the 6x9’s.Need some advice. I finally got a chance to install the Infinity door speakers and ran into a bit of an issue. My thoughts are not everyone has an angle grinder, so are you guys reusing the factory screws that have the attached washer and modifying them by removing the washer so I doesn't pinch the speaker material, or are you going to a hardware store and getting replacement screws more similar to the factory thread than the ones that come in the box with the speakers? If so, any specifics on what you are using would be appreciated.

Assuming that there is no major difference between the 2019 classic and the DT I think it would fit and be a great idea. Pay attention to notes for the wiring on the install in the review below.Kenwood Excelon KFC-XP6903C
This is a 6x9 component speaker consisting of a 3 1/2" tweeter and a 6x9 woofer. Would I be able to install the woofer in the front door and the tweeter in the dash? If so, would I need to utilize the crossover they provide, or could I just install them using the Metra harness? I have the stock 6 speaker system with the 8.4 NAV and the ANC module under the driver's seat. Thanks for any insight.
i know the feeling.i really didnt notice how good my upgrade was until i play one certain song...and i was like "WoW!!"!My speaker upgrade is complete. I cannot believe the sound quality I am experiencing from these speakers. By far the best money I have spent on my truck to date. It was great that I got them while Crutchfield had them all 25% off.
thanks for the tip..think i will got that type of woofer! !So after reviewing several posts, I decided to give the Kicker Hideaway HS10 a try. I am not looking at monster dbs just looking for a full sound with the non-alpine 8.5 setups in the 2020 bighorns. I took a chance with the PAC ANC-CH01 (for the 2019 5gens). This is also where I will tap-in for my amp input signal. After removing the driver's side back sear and clicking the back firewall looks to be a good spot. The wiring harness that is included with the Kicker Hideaway is long enough to reach the ANC module and the battery, so no other wiring kits are needed. This took no more than 4 hours, could be much faster but was very cautious not to break the plastic trim and clips. Overall I am pleased with the sound, will need to do some tuning to get it dialed in. I'm most concerned with bypassing the ANC as the truck was very quite. I will update in a few days.
I was in the same place as you are. After upgrading speakers, the sound was clear but too much treble...uncomfortably so. The solution is a subwoofer. That will make all the difference.so I finished my install last night only after reading most of this thread and great info but have a few issues, the anc drone, disconnected mics so fixed, but my sound isn't great. I added the kickers to the dash and the treble is ear piercing, checked phase and are correct, then i put mtx 6.9 front a rear doors and they have less bass than the factory speakers. to the point is pretty much none even with the eq adjusted up.
I added a sub at the same time, after playing with it i ended up putting a breather mat from carbon fiber vacuum bagging between the dash speaker and grill and what a difference its like poly fill in a sheet form, it cut down the highs enough that my teb is at zero.I was in the same place as you are. thats what i have and attempt to use.but what are those "Switches"in the back are for(as well as a little button).which switch or voltage do /should i use?
you know your right.i took you guys advice and not touch those switches.it still played with no problem.i have not conected to my amp yet.truck right now is getting "Ceramic coated".so what i did for now.is just playing it thru the stock setup(Alpine)works just fine!.no static, error codes.etc.just have to install and secure the amp..here is where its going guys .I didn’t have to move any of the switches on mine. The instructions that can either the unit I’ll explain what they are for. But for just a sub amp add on with the alpine radio, the switches should already be set.
