Recently installed a 2" leveling kit and 295/65R20 (35.1x11.5) Toyo Open Country AT3's on my 2020 1500 Laramie. Had to remove front mudguards to eliminate slight rub at full lock.
Thx! I did end up with the 285s with no rub...new wheels with a 0 offset helped.

How are you liking the Venoms? I have the exact same truck and am looking at Venoms among others seriously.

You are still 3/4” shy of 35

Negative. A tire is measured on a specific width wheel, at a specific pressure, with no load on it, and including the bulge of the sidewalls. That's where the listings come from on tire manufacturers sites. However, when you and I measure tires, we measure in a straight line, and typically with a load on the tire. SO... a "35" will never measure out 35 inches.

I assumed you knew that, which is why I posted the picture. But apparently you didn't. So there you go. My 295/60R20 measures out exactly where my 35x12.50s have always measured before....and neither will be a true 35" on a tape measure due to the way I'm measuring vs. how the tire maker measures. Brand doesn't matter...it's always this way. That's why my stock tires are listed at 31.9" but measure 31.0" on the truck.

Here's the calc used for measuring tire dia. on metrics: 295x.6=177x2=354/25.4=13.94+20=33.94

35x12.5x22 Toyo RT 2” Level. Love them. I think 33s were to small to fit my profile for 22” rims so I’m really glad I went with 35s.
May I ask what level you used? I’m literally have the same truck you have. But I don’t want to spend money right now on a full lift kit. So my question is, will a 2” level be suffice to fit 35s without any Tun? Also, is it just a 2” in the front? Again I’m sorry for any inconvenience. I really just want to fit either 34s or 35s on my truck. Ridge grapplers to be exact. But I’m curious if a leveling kit affects your current suspension? Also, if it doesn’t hurt your current suspension, am I able to go a tad higher? Up to 3”? I don’t want to do something if it affects the truck suspension.

I've heard going anything over 2-2.5" leveling kit might affect UCA ball joint. Some kits over 2.5" offer new upper control arms to keep ball joint rake to a min. I went 2" front only and fit 295/65R20's (just shy of 35" dia). Slight rub at full lock with RAM mudguards, so some trimming was req'd. Waiting for a nice day to share pics!

Thanks for sharing that info. Slight rub with mudguards means no rub for me since I don’t have mudguards. I do want want by a leveling kit that comes with control arms. I can’t wait for some pics of your truck. Thanks again.

I will say that if you can swing the Mopar lift, go for it. The Fox shocks make the ride so much better! I have the ORP and it was an instant difference when I got it back on the road. Just MO on this one. Here are a few of mine with the lift, wheels (0 offset), and tires (285/65r20 AT3Ws). Very happy with it overall.

You don’t happen to know what the total height (including the Antenna Fin) is ? I’ve got this same set up going on my Wifes 2020 ram This week and if She can’t get into the garage this winter I’ll be in big trouble lol. Thanks.

Beautiful lookin truck! I don’t suppose you have measurements posted somewhere, or would be willing to take some? Either ground to fender or center of hub to fender. I have the ORP on 275/65/R20’s and have been tossing between the Mopar or other forms of lift as I’d like to run 285’s but don’t want a ton of lift as this is also my daily driver. Thanks in advance.

Sorry haven’t been in here in a bit. I’m guessing you have already done your mod? But to answer you question I am at 7ft.

Sorry I haven’t been in here in a bit. To answer your question.... I have no issues with Venoms! I’m almost at 5 k miles and will be rotating then. Road noise is still the same the day I put them one. Handles great too! Just waiting on the snow

I figured since every other truck like mine has posted in here I’d jump on the bandwagon as well . I went with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/55 on the factory 22’s. I never cared for the factory 32” tire and couldn’t wait to upgrade.

@mk2019ORP i grabbed a couple. Let me know if you want anymore. 40 3/4ish up front and 41 3/4ish in the rear (ground to fender). Tires at 40 psi too.

Awesome thank you! One more if your willing? Center hub to fender on the front. Will help me compensate for the fact that I’m currently running 275/65’s vs your 285’s (which should be marginal but still). I’d have you do the back but I have quite a bit of sag I’m working on between my topper, decked drawer system and recovery gear. Currently sitting at about 38” even in the front and 38” 3/4 in the rear with stock ORP suspension.
