Hey guys, relatively new to the fourms so thought I'd say hi and possibly help some other newbies who may be lost searching different threads. I been looking for several week now for a straight answer on if I could fit a 12.5 wide on my 2021 limited without a lift, level or spacers and I couldn't get a straight yes or no either way...WELL I'm here to tell you that you infact can fit a 33 x 12.5 r22 on your trucks factory rims without it rubbing any of the steering components! I did a test fit first in "normal" and it cleared lock to lock however to be safe and since the wheels were off I drilled a tiny hole on the inside corner of my inner fender and used a tie strap to give me even more clearance. Hope this helps anyone that was thinking of a similar mod....here's a few pics dont mind the dirt 😉

What load range are those? And does it rub in Aero Mode?

They have a E load and aero rides like a dream! I'm going go ahead and say better then stock ride quality and I think that's due in part to the wider foot print, not falling in ever little pot hole. Very impressed and just compared the speedo to Google maps and up to 140km it was within 1km off

Thank you for posting this. I want to put the exact same tires on my truck. I have a 19 Laramie Sport with the standard coil spring suspension though. Is it safe to assume that they would clear on my truck also or is there a difference in ride height between the standard suspension trucks and the air suspension trucks?

I can't say 100% but all the things I found online would suggest they should also fit yours. As far as rubbing the inner fender, while the wheels are off just pin them back like I did or use a heat gun to reshape it. They are a tight fit thought, I can barely fit my finger inside the top of the tire and the upper ball joint but hey....a inch or a mile, fit fits haha

Thank you for this info! Just got a 2021 Limited Longhorn and was wondering about BFG KO2s. This is very helpful.

Question: how/what did you do regarding the tire pressure sensors and the increased pressure for E-rated tires?

I didn't have to change anything, just followed the trucks recommended 36 psi and everything worked as it should, no low tire warnings or things like that and running them at 36 psi like I said above I feel the ride quality is better then stock with the bigger footprint

Ya I couldn't find much in the way of guys keeping the factory rims without a lift or spacers either so figured I'd be the guinea pig. Here is a few more pics of her clean

Hey guys, just my .02, I went with 305/45/22 toyo at3. They are technically a 33x12. No rub on factory steel suspension. I chose the toyo due to 65,000 tread life warranty and standard load range (much lighter). Truck has not lost any pep or mpg with the toyos, but feels much more planted and confident. I have 3.21 gears and from what I hear the extra weight of going to a load range E is very noticeable and these gear ratios. 33x12.5 do look fantastic though and I am glad you like them!!

Ya our trucks definitely don't look right with the pizza cutters they gave us from factory, I forgot to mention I'm running 3:92s in mine, wanted the bottom end

Do you have any pics of the 305/45/22 on your truck? Just bought a 2021 Laramie night edition and that’s the size I’m looking to buy. Also what psi are you running them at?

Sorry not a great photo, stuck inside on the icepocalypse. Looks better in person. I’ll get it cleaned up and take some better photos one of these days!

BIGGER TIRES!! I have been reading threads and posts and videos non-stop trying to figure this out. I have purchased the Daystar spacers and the Revel links because that seems to be what works the best for air ride and the bigger tires. Waiting on my install. In the meantime, I went ahead and put on the new tires on the OEM wheels. 285/55/22 Toyo OC AT/3. I DO have some rubbing at the extreme turns and it appears to be at the splash guards/well liner.
My question is I fail to see how leveling and spacers will alleviate this. The rubs occur at the horizontal axis at full turn, and mostly in reverse for some reason. tricking the suspension 2" with the links is similar to OR. that does not alleviate the horizontal clearance.
Any input from those that have done this?

I just did 35s on mine. There is the smallest rub on the bottom corner of the passenger air dam at full lock. I’m not concerned at all.

I had the same question! So I put 35x12.5x22 on my stock 2021 limited w/air ride. I have a leveling kit and revel link
@D52670 did you do the BFG in 35? If so, would love to see a picture!
i didn’t do BFGs. I went with the federals xplora R/T

So no rubbing after the links? did you you do front and rear links and spacers in the front?
