So no rubbing after the links? did you you do front and rear links and spacers in the front?
I haven’t done the links or leveling kit yet. I just got the kit today so I figured I would mount my tires just to see if it would fit. Incase someone was wondering, like me if you have to do the leveling kit. They do rub a small corner on the passenger side when in full lock turn to turn. If you back the steering wheel off 1-2inches they don’t rub. Here is a pick of where it was rubbing and this is in “normal” ride height. No big deal at all.

There ya go
Thanks for your post. I recently purchased a 2021 Limited Night Edition and was wondering if 33s would clear without doing any suspension modifications. I had the KO2s (20 inch wheels) on my 2013 longhorn and only had a sight rub on the inner liner in reverse at full lock. I’m looking forward to the 33s. Home many miles do you have on them now? Thanks again.

Update, the tires actually rubbed on the inside just a little. That pic I posted must have been some scrapes from the snow/ice we had that week. I had to trim a small piece of plastic off the passenger side inner fender ans that got rid of the noise. And it was small. Maybe a 2x2in sq. I think the plastic was just bent out enough from the factory. My driver side didn’t rub.

Thanks for the update, I appreciate it. I feel good about ordering the 33s now. Thanks again.

Thanks for the update, I appreciate it. I didn’t want to do the links and have to ride on off-road 2 the entire time. If all I have to do is a small amount of trimming or use a heat gun to bend it back I’m cool with that. I feel good about ordering the 33s now since I don’t have to do links. Thanks again.

33s should rub all. My factory tires where 285/45/22. That’s about 32.5. 33s will fit fine.

After reading through a lot of material on this forum, I am leaning toward the Toyo AT3s for my 20' limited.

Can someone explain the difference between these two sizes:

305/45R22

33x12.5R22

Why are they sold in metric units as well as inches??

I must be missing something.

Here’s a newer Ram 1500 Limited that I saw last year. It’s not mine but he’s/she’s obviously using the stock wheels and he/her had 35x12.50R22’s on toyo’s

OP, how are the 12.5 in winter? I have been up in the air on size for my truck due to these also being used in winters here in Western PA.

Hey guys, relatively new to the fourms so thought I'd say hi and possibly help some other newbies who may be lost searching different threads. I been looking for several week now for a straight answer on if I could fit a 12.5 wide on my 2021 limited without a lift, level or spacers and I couldn't get a straight yes or no either way...WELL I'm here to tell you that you infact can fit a 33 x 12.5 r22 on your trucks factory rims without it rubbing any of the steering components! I did a test fit first in "normal" and it cleared lock to lock however to be safe and since the wheels were off I drilled a tiny hole on the inside corner of my inner fender and used a tie strap to give me even more clearance. Hope this helps anyone that was thinking of a similar mod....here's a few pics dont mind the dirt 😉
I know it's a old post but good choice in size thats what I have on my Limited
