3.21. vs 3.92 gear

Then you should've went with a truck that could get out of its own way.
My 0-60 with 3:21 gears, locked in 4wd high to limit wheelspin with a non E-Torq Hemi and 121,000 miles on it. Let’s see yours…….

I’m legitimately curious what the difference is. Might blow that time away for all I know but really wanna see some real numbers.

I'm the Fuel Economy Champ, not the 0-60 Champ. Maybe I'll do a run with the camper hooked up.

I find this thread hilarious. I can just imagine the TRX guys reading this with their 3.55 gears and laughing their asses off. 😆

Gas mileage……..what’s that?🤷🏻‍♂️

If I didn't need to tow as often as I do, I'd probably have a TRX.

The way I drive I should have one too. Sure would be fun no doubt. Pass everything but the gas stations. Probably lose my license. 😲

Nothing I said was “incorrect”. It literally validated your position, but you’re so stuck in your own head you can’t hear anything anyone else says.
This...
Actually, the math and science are pretty much indisputable that 3.21's get better highway mileage.
...is incorrect.

And it's completely the opposite of my position.

But you apparently have no idea what that is, so you'd rather just run your mouth.

Sounds like we need to call the myth busters

I bought a new 21 1500 Laramie, 3.92, 4x4, OFG, Hemi e torque, short bed, and I bought (Ordered and received) a new 22 1500 Longhorn, 3.21, 4x4, OFG, NON e torque, long bed, topper.
Both trucks are stock with the exact same size wheels and tires. Both trucks have been driven the same, pulled the same (occasional very light up to approximately 5000 lbs.), with the exception that the 3.92 truck I gave to my son and he has that truck in Alaska in the Army for the last 7 months. Most of the mileage on the 3.92, and all of the mileage on the 3.21 was from me.
I have 3 pictures. One showing the life mileage of the 3.92. One showing the last 2655.4 miles that was all my son driving, showing just a tenth of a difference in total mileage. And one showing the life mileage of the 3.21 truck.

3.21 showing 3.2 mpg better.

This doesn't really prove anything other than your son has a heavier foot

My son’s foot and my foot are only a tenth of a MPG difference.
That's interesting considering the odometer mileage was exactly the same in the two pictures. So not sure how that would represent two different drivers.

I owned a 2014 w/5.7 Hemi & 3.21 and currently own a 2019 w/5.7 Hemi & 3.92. My mpg was similar to yours in both cases.

My preference was actually the 3.21. Especially for the numerous long trips I would make for business. It just drove more relaxed and got some hellacious mpg at hwy speed (21-23). I don't tow or race from stop light to stop light.

Don't get me wrong, I love both these trucks. Best long distance vehicles I've ever owned. Very comfortable.

...and 13.6 mpg? I can damn near hit that when I'm towing.

It is hard for me to believe you can’t figure the pictures out. My son took the pictures just moments apart while just sitting in his truck. The picture showing 13.7 mpg is the lifetime mileage after traveling 22,655.5 miles with most of those miles me driving. The trip A picture shows 13.6 mpg after traveling just 2,655.4 miles that is all my son driving. The 16.9 mpg is lifetime mpg after traveling 3,203.7 miles In the 3.21 that is all me.
