2025 Rebel Taillights

Raiti's rides review

At 6:35 he states LED taillights, however the main bulbs in other videos look like regular bulbs so maybe just the running lights on the outside of the taillight at led. In the video it is a level 2 package as it has the upgraded screens, leather seats and ventilated front seats.

If it is regular bulbs than that is an easy upgrade to go to LEDs, but it is a disappointment, my truck is over 80K per the sticker, (Mark Dodge made sure I get it for much less) but at that price it is not crazy to expect premium features.

Agreed

You can see the headlights at 5:25. The taillights will have a similar effect with the red led bar that goes around the tail lights.

Any update on this? I ordered the 2025 Rebel level 2, and it shipped a couple days ago. My window sticker also says it has the animated headlights/taillights.

I just want to know if the limited taillights will work on the Laramie plug and play. If so I will order them asap. I can’t believe nobody has tried it yet.

I got the same rebel 2 package says animated lights but for the life of me can't figure out how they work. Mine just blink

Yeah let's hope that Morimoto or some other aftermarket companies produce full LED front and rear kits. I've got their LED headlights on the front of my 2016 RAM after the OEM burned out...they look OEM and are wicked bright compared to stock projectors.

What a cluster eff...

And it's not just RAMs either. Just FYI.

It's been this weird mixture of bulbs and systems that freak out when you look at a bulb the wrong way for too long now. If it's not manufacturers chokeholding the housings charging thousands for replacements, it's something dumb like swapping to an LED will disable your vehicles speakers or 4WD (slight exaggeration). I had a FORD that disabled the cruise control and that was there way of telling you a bulb was out. No bulb indicator light to keep it simple... We're just gonna confuse you in the hopes you bring the truck in so we can charge you thousands for nothing.

My 3rd brake light is not LED either. 2022 Longhorn (not limited no 12" screen no cameras). But I think my tail lights are LED and so it appears the same for every other bulb on the truck too. Just strange. On other vehicles it was the license plate bulbs not being LED but everything else was lol. I mean wtf... Figure it out. LEDs that are replaceable without having to replace the entire setup and some uniformity across platforms and packages. It really isn't that hard of a concept.

Those with a level 2 Rebel, take a picture of your front headlights. Just curious if you actually have them or not. On the Ram website it only mentions having animated front headlights, nothing about the rear being LED.

I'm waiting to see if there's a night edition part number. I feel like there should be a tinted version. I've been trying to search around, but can't find anything. :(

There is only one set of part numbers for the LED tails, and I can’t find a tinted version on any 2025 Ram in pics on a nationwide search. Incandescent tails do have two sets of part numbers, one has black bezels.

Thank you sir!

Adding the PN's that you gave us on the other chat.

I’m curious though- if you, or anyone else that has incandescent taillights, can pull them at some point and see if the connector has 4, or 6 wires. This will determine how easy it might be to add the animated feature for those that swap in the LED tails.

Let me go remove one and I'll report back.

Do you know if the PN for the front lights and if they might work on ours? I know those do have a Night Edition version.

6 wires on the connector to the light and only 4 on the light itself. @Jimmy07

There’s only two versions of the LED reflector headlamps- chrome bezels, or black bezels.
Black bezel part numbers: right- 68530376AA, left- 68530377AA. Those will be a direct swap.
There is only one version of the projector headlamps, so no black bezel version for those.

All possible wiring is present. Looks like the animated feature is just a matter of programming.
