2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Has anybody figured out how to fold down the rear seats in a '25? Mine recline and the bottom folds up, but there doesn't seem to be a way to fold the backs down like I've seen on the '24s.
Someone mentioned it, I think in this thread.

Customer care called yesterday to say that buy back is again denied and they are closing the ticket since the dealership is waiting for the PCM. They said I can reopen if the new PCM doesn't fix the issue. I will call he dealership to see if they can pull it from another truck.
The lemon laws vary by state, so you should check them out for your state. In some states, there is a relatively limited number of days the truck can be out of service (during a specified period of time and/or mileage). For NY it's 30 days in the first two years or 18,000 miles. If they refuse to give you a date on a new PCM, and you're truly getting fed up with this, it's at least an option. You don't have to abide by what FCA customer care says.

I have retained a Lemon Law Lawyer and they said it could take between 12 to 24 months to get it resolved because FCA likes to drag it out.

That’s ridiculous. I wonder if they’d be liable for punitive damages if it takes that long…

I wouldnt say they fold down 100%, but there is a small circle of "rip cord" on the back of the seats, Feel around and pull it, it will release the seats

The lawyers are the professionals. I agree that this seems longer than conventional wisdom. I thought anywhere from 3 - 12 months. But it all depends on your state, and your state's requirements. In some cases it's black and white (like your truck has been out of service for X days), in other cases, proving it's a lemon could be more subjective (and problematic). I'm sorry you've even had to go this far.
I'm dealing with FCA myself, and they do drag everything out. As much as I like the trucks, I'm not a fan of this company.
Good luck, and keep fighting for what's right.

Sure enough. I looked once before, and I hadn't seen verification that the 2025s had them, so I gave up before I found it. Once you release them, they definitely don't want to fold easily though. I have the heated back seats, so that probably doesn't help. They started making not great plastic noises before they were halfway down, so I just put them back. There's surprisingly little room back there.
