I got the same thing, a pop up screen giving me the option to install the update. I'm not sure what it did, but it did turn my surround sound off, which I had to go back into audio settings and turn it on again. I don't have HUD., so didn't notice anything there.

I meant to check my idle and run time when I was picking up my truck but forget to check it. I'm currently at 18 hours idle and 123 hours driving.

So there is a possibility that since I did have the truck leaning forward that the oil level went up and it gave me that warning. I doubt it should have happened, but I don't think I can rule that out.
Hello new to forum. bought my 2025 ram 1500 Big Horn on around labor day only got 1200 mile check engine light finally came on last week DTC P1CEA Dealer couldn't get me in utill Dec. 4. in the mean time I was doing a u connect update in my garage and the oil level too full warning came on next day last monday I took it to dealer and they got me right in. They did the flash update for the CEL. For the oil too full the tech said he drained 1 1/2 quarts of oil out and oil looked fine no gas or coolant that he could detect in the oil. So I am concerned about why all of a sudden after 3 months my oil level was to full (or was it). Never had any drivabity issues with the CEL. I think I am going to drain the oil and see where I am at this weekend

My guess would lean more towards faulty reading rather than that the oil was overfilled. I don't understand why they have to try to over complicate everything. Just give us the dipstick back instead of all these complicated systems that are prone to fail at some point. The dipstick was fool proof and could last an eternity.

So now I'm a quart and half low. I need to physically check this out myself. I actually think my dash warning after it said oil level critcally high see dealer changed to say see dealer and change oil or some thing like that.

I just changed my oil myself last week. If you could do it yourself, just change the filter and dump all the oil out and put in 7.4 quarts. One positive is on the hurricane, oil change is pretty easy with the filter location being easily accessible. If you don't do it yourself, take it somewhere and get the oil changed. Even though you should still have enough oil in there, I would not feel comfortable driving around just guessing how much oil is in the truck. I would feel better knowing the proper amount was in there.

i changed my own oil before change mine was at top of redline takes 7.5 i put 8 quarts top of redline again

i have seen brand new ones being test driven and they show gauges some are a hole section before redline most recent i saw was racer x review he show gauges no where near top of redline brand-new truck these new electronics and software are the down fall of these new ones if i had time i would unhook batteries everyday everything seems perfect for a 100 miles or so when you do that

Can anyone explain the driving mode function to me? Like where does it show what driving mode I am in? When I press the button, it instantly changes the driving mode. I find this ridiculous that I can't view the driving modes first, and then select one. I was driving on the road and tried to view the driving modes and it instantly put me in 4wd. What am I doing wrong?

It’s not very well executed. I think one of the dash menu items is drive mode.
