2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Okay, one more thing I would like to change:

Is there a way to turn off the seatbelt chime? I.e. make it not start chiming if I'm driving without my seat belt fastened?

There was a way to do that on my '21. I thought it was something like Ignition On, fasten and unfasten seat belt 10 times, Ignition Off, or something like that. I tried that and it didn't work.

And no, I don't normally ever drive with my seat belt undone. But, when I'm driving through my apartment complex to the trash dumpster or to where my mailbox is, then I often do. And then, the chime is annoying.

No! Quit breaking the law you deviant! Stop criming! 😂

This worked for me.

This worked for me.

Thank you! I knew it was something like that but couldn't remember the exact details.

I just did it in my '25 and it appears to have worked - with one minor difference. On my '25, there seems to be no "ACC" position for the ignition. I press the Start button one time and that puts it right into Run mode.

So, where the video says to press Start twice, I only had to press once.

I knew I shouldn't trust @RamTruckMan! ;) lol!

Does it turn off the passenger seat also? Or do you have to do the same over there?

If there is a chime for when the passenger is sitting in their seat unbuckled, doing that process once will take care of that too. Note that this only eliminates the chime, not the unbuckled seatbelt warnings displayed in the cluster. Also, this method only works for the analog gauge clusters, and does not work for the full digital cluster.

So it works on the one with the 7” screen in the middle but with analog gages on the sides?

I have a '25 Limited. I have the full digital cluster.

It SEEMS like it worked for me. But, I only drove around a parking lot for a minute. I did get up to 20 MPH, though.

It never chimed. But, maybe it will when I go out on a longer and/or faster drive.

I will test and confirm. I can only HOPE you are wrong.
