Lol, I appreciate it, but I live in Tennessee. If you live anywhere near Houston, I'll rent you one of my unused cars for much less than $1,000 per month.

That likely depends on how you structured your deal with the dealer. My agreement is based on a fixed dollar amount (2021 prices were used as the basis), with a specific provision that the dealer absorbs any price increases that come with the 2022's. So I already know my max cost, and now it's just a matter of determining what incentives/rebates are available when it comes in.caught up on posts. On the delays re: hunting season. Hope they don't build mine on the first day of hunting season. I'm superstitious and read a book many years ago about car defects when they are built on first of hunting season due to substitute workers. Not sure if relevant today. A question that has started to gnaw at me and I wondered if any members have experience with this: We ordered in good faith based upon the price at the time of our order and received our signed sales contract and poc. If manufacturer prices are increased are the increases past on to us or does the dealer eat it or does the dealer pay based upon their order date?
I don't know if Bambi would care what truck it is being carried out in...lol.caught up on posts. On the delays re: hunting season. Hope they don't build mine on the first day of hunting season. It looks like the first day of hunting season is now a mandated Union holiday for autoworkers.caught up on posts. On the delays re: hunting season. Yeah, I saw that. Some people are getting their hopes up that 2022 production might still start next week, but I don't see it (based on the numbers). SHAP is turning out anywhere from 200-400+ TRX's a week, so they've got about a week left. And if those statistics are about the same for all other DT's, then next Monday isn't happening for 2022's. I guess there's a chance they could start the week of 8/30.I was over on the the TRX forum and ran across this in a thread. Maybe some hope for the 8/25 start date. @Triple B and @Eighty jsut an FYI that I cross posting data too. In case you were putting something together.
First part of screen shot from a dealer that posts over there, the second pasrt referring to the 4600 22's on order is from Triple B.

Yep, I got the same 2020 brochure a few weeks ago. Can’t say I blame them…they don’t appear to know exactly what they’re selling yet in the 2022’s, given all the confusion with package pricing. So I guess they punted and pulled out an old stack of brochures from the corner.I sent for a brochure a few weeks ago. This is what showed up today. No coupon of course. View attachment 103341
I received a brochure back in June. About 3 weeks later I received a coupon for 1,000 against a 21' purchase. Received a 2nd coupon in August, ending 8/31. I don't recall if the brochure was for a 20 or 21.Yep, I got the same 2020 brochure a few weeks ago. “Nobody will notice”
Just to be fair, the web site does specify on the request screen that it is for the 2020 1500. The downloadable version is the 2021, but the mail version specifies 2020. So while I admit it's weird they wouldn't be the same, at least they're clear about what it is we'd be receiving.I sent for a brochure a few weeks ago. This is what showed up today. Thank you once again. The anticipation is killing us all!!Update on the tracking chart. No new additions in the past 2 days (surprising). I've seen a couple people say they've placed an order, but I need the last 6 digits of the VIN (at a minimum) to get you added to the tracker.
You'll notice I updated the assumption on start of production - currently assuming the week of 9/6. This is based on the dealer rumor that production has pushed back, but also the fact that no one is in D1 status yet.
For visual purposes, I also made the target arrival date more of a fuzzy area than a hard window. Just want everyone to keep in mind that these are all make-believe dates.

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!!! If we don't get production updates by the 30th of this month... I'll fix the stupid brakes on my current truck.Thank you once again. The anticipation is killing us all!!
I like to think optimistically becuase im incapable of accepting in my head how long the wait could be. So Slope seems pretty consistent when the bulk orders in between ours are removed. If they really do prioritize customer orders above bulk ones, and we control for those spikes, it seems reasonable to assume the BEST case scenario is that within 6 weeks of switch over almost all of our vins could have a build sheets if customer orders comprised of 1/3 of production(for simplicity, the Avg Slope of the periods without spikes im considering all customer orders). Im gonna use this roundabout logic to convince myself the truck will be here soon.Update on the tracking chart. No new additions in the past 2 days (surprising).
