Anybody that replaced a dash due to the leather shrinking have used the old dash and were able to pull the skin off to see what is under it . Like dash pad .
I removed the cluster pad and see they have a blue glued on pad and there is almost no glue on it .
I bought a ram 1500 with 46k and it did come with the 7year / 100k certified pre own warranty. Does the warranty cover this dash problem?
The ram dealer got me saying it was a cheap 100 dollar fix but turns out it's a big job .
Any luck or ideas to get this fixed @RamCares. Please help

It's not likely that your extended warranty will cover this. Most of them do not cover soft interior items. But you can read through your paperwork to verify that. Everything that is covered is spelled out in the fine print.

It's not surprising to me that the selling dealership told you it would be a cheap fix. They probably had no idea and didn't want to do anything to spoil the sale. Ram dealership's fix is to replace the dash. If it happens while still covered by the original factory warranty it is a covered item. If it happens to our 2020 Limited I plan to take the truck to an upholstery shop and see what they would charge to recover the dash in something more durable.

I was hoping someone that had a dash already removed could remove the leather to expose the underside and to see how it looks . I went to a couple different upholstery shops and they were not as interested cause the airbag being in the dash and I know it can be deactivated but it's hard to tell what is all behind the leather just above the glove box
