2019 RAM 1500 hellwig swaybar

@Jeffjad below your washer there seems to be a good 1/4” of space but mine is on the curve of the C shape. It didn’t matter which side is up or down, correct?

@Jeffjad you can even see a little pile of the black coating that collected under the washer as it scraped by

No it doesnt matter which side is up or down. I see what your talking about but I'm not sure I would worry about that too much. I don't know if our C clamps were machined differently or what. Weird!

I would call Hellwig directly and see what they say. I called them because I had a question about washer placement and they were very prompt and helpful, possible they sent the wrong C clamp.

What’s the verdict on how it improves when towing a travel trailer?

Also know I have the lifted version (7883) of the sway bar with the adjustable end links but I don't see why the C clamps would be any different.

@Jeffjad Hellwig got back to me very quickly. Said if I was still able to tighten the bolts down it should be fine. Sucks I got the one weird manufacturing defect I’ve seen on this entire thread though

I had the same issue on mine. Going to check the torque on them every so often to make sure they're still at the right amount.

Still waiting for mine
Amazon seems to be the cheapest $225, but says almost 10 days to get it

I ordered off Amazon, non-prime member and it came in two days, a week before estimated delivery.

Just installed mine on the stiffest setting and took it out for a test drive. At first I didnt notice anything different, then i took a few spirited turns. WOW...this is well worth the money. My wife and dogs will likely appreciate it on the winding rocky mountain roads we take.

I just installed mine, EASY. done in about 30 minutes and I don't know what I'm doing.
Night & day difference,I am lifted & had "Wallowing" not anymore.
used middle hole.
