Beyond pissed! I've been a faithful Ram man for years & wouldn't even think of owning anything else but this new truck is whacked. When I go to start it in the morning, the cluster panel goes off like a Christmas tree! All the sensor warnings light up, steering stiffens as if no assist, transmission doesn's shift beyond 2nd, the engine fans winds up and sounds like an F-16, everything becomes disabled and it's in major limp mode! This occured at 165 miles, 289 miles, 442 miles & again today at 1240 miles! Took it to the dealer twice and they, "...cannot replicate the condition and nothing shows up on scan..". When the truck starts normally, it's the best driving machine I've ever experienced but I'm running low on steam over this BS. Any other similar stories and or advice, short of filing a lemon claim? This is an E-Torque as well. I took pics of the action...

I had power steering failure and also transmission issues myself but what you have seems like something I have never heard of. I would imagine with your check engine light on you would some some codes stored in the DTC that the dealership can find. They replaced my PCM and EPSM due to my power steering failure and my transmission issues I had they blamed on snow and ice. Please keep us updated but I would for sure start the lemon law process due to it taking a few months. Private message me and I have numerous FCA contact names and phone numbers that will be able to assist you. Make sure to get a case number started and star number started also. Contact FCA to get the ball rolling at least with these case numbers. Make sure you tell them this is a safety issue.

Private message @RamCares also and give them your VIN Number, your name, phone number, address, and email address along with these photos.

Today was the first time I took pics of the issue so I certainly will tomorrow when they open.

What your battery voltage cluster shows when driving? Reason i am asking is that i had loose ground connector (became loose with in first 1k miles) and maunly caused flickering headlights, push/start not to engage from first press, parking brake acting up, not in park message when in fact car was parked, my battery was reading 13.6/13.7V, once i fixed loose ground everytging was resolved, and battery reads normal 14.5/14.6V

I did check to ensure the cables were tight when it first happened and they were. Thank you for your response.

Lemon Laws vary from state to state... check yours before you start throwing that around at your dealer. No sense in getting folks agitated until you need to do so.

Ok, I had battery cables tight too, fuses all set and cables to fuse box all tight, what was loose is one of the other 5 ground studs around engine bay

Was your truck an early production model, I am curious to find out if some of these issues are getting resolved and the QC improving with time.........

They have such a great design and an opportunity to sell a bunch , yet it sounds like quality is still lacking, i was hoping they would get over their teething problems after a few month.

My 2014 jeep did the same thing. Apparenty a ground wire was loose.
Easy fix but definitely disappointing.

UPDATE: Dropped it off with dealer on 12/3, picked up on 12/4. The tech informed me that they, "...see the codes in the computer...but couldn't replicate them...". The dealer went through all the connections, checked for any loose grounds etc. The dealer said they "reset / cleared the codes" and INSISTED that there is "nothing more they could do". I said are you sure, I'm about to drive out of here and my family will be in the truck and God forbid something happens as a result of you not exhausting all options. He said nothing more could be done.
THEN...last week, it did it again for about 35 minutes but hasn't done it since. Best way to describe it is that it's a very sad type of feeling to look at my $70K truck with these issues. Beautiful truck and apparently one that nobody in my town understands. The technology surpasses the technician here I guess and or maybe I'm just special. Anyway, @RamCares reached out same day as last post and was very sincere and to the point. I'll advise as to where this goes. Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas to you as well!

I sure hope Ram can get this figured out. You should be able to trust your new vehicle.
