Did some test fitting on my Ram Rebel and 35x12.50 rub to the point where u cant complete a turn due to the splash gaurd on the outer rear side of the wheel well. I dont want to mess with it so I am just going to test fit some 34's now.

The truck has a 2" leveling spacer and the rebel already comes with a 1 inch lift from factory so that makes it 3" taller than a Non Offroad package/Rebel ram. The rims were 18x9 method rims. Not sure on the offset. Just wanted to provide some info on who ever was thinking about doing 35s.

I was at the dealer Tuesday night taking measurements for my Rebel and the install for the 6" lift. They had a Laramie 4x4 with a 2" spacer and 35's and it didn't rub. I'd def look into your offset. Not recommended by all but maybe add some spacers to push the wheels out?

First off, thanks for posting this. Actually headed into the same exact issues (2” level + 35’s) next week.

@19BlkRam posted a how-to on clearing the exact same area you’re rubbing on (in his build thread I think?).

Encouraged to hear that the 18x9 method standards actually cleared the caliper. Maybe there’s hope for my 18x9 NV’s that are on their way :)

Thanks for trying and posting. Where there is a will, there is a way of course but this tells me going 34” on a 2” level ORP is the way to go.

I was direct messaging this dude on Instagram and he also said his 35s didn't rub on his ram. However he didn't specify if they were 12.50 wide.

^^^. That’s the look ( wheels & tires ) that I am in need of. Do you have any information as to what this set up is ?

First thing I thought of was 12.5 was a bit of wishful thinking. You'd probably be laughing in around a 10.

According to him just a 2.5 level and 35" MT tires on stock rims. He had 33s on some 20x12 rims as well.

I’ll have to contact my dealer as I didn’t know they offered chrome wheels for our DT Ram.

I really don't want to cut anything lol I regreted doing a NorCal mod on my 16 sierra.

I chopped my plastic liners on a 03 Avalanche and it looked like hell lol been there too, Stick to a safe offset and you should be good to go then. what I removed was so minimal that I felt it was worth it for the right stance.

The 18" wheels will clear it's only when you go to a 6" lift and have to change the knuckle, then the 18's won't clear.

Test fit nets about one thick C-hair clearance at caliper. Method NV 18x9 -12os. Not sure this counts as “clearing”?
