2” or 2.5” level. Please help me decide!

What's odd is I went with the ReadyLift 2" kit, and I have almost 1" of rake. Right after install, I had 1/2" of rake. I suppose each truck is a little different, so you may need to measure before deciding how much lift you need/want.

That's one of the reasons i was looking to the 2.5" motofab spacers. Just in case my truck settled or something.

Even though I have almost 1" of rake, my truck still looks pretty level. IMO, the 2.5" would make it look nose high even though it might measure slightly nose low.

Here's how level my truck sits. My garage floor has a slight grade, left to right.

Truck looks great …. So 2” Readylift and nothing rear ? What size tires ? Look like 10” wheels

Thanks. Yes. 2" front, nothing rear. 305/55x20 with 10" wheels and -12 offset. The wide-angle shot makes the tires look like they stick out 3", but they only stick out 3/4-1".

Exact tire size tire and wheel I’m going with …. Did you do before and after measurements on the front fender ? Did you get a true 2” out of the Readylift ?

I had the dealer install the lift before I took delivery, so I didn't get to compare. I've read a few reviews that it yields 1 3/4".

1-3/4” would be cool …. Long as it’s not more than 2”

I just ordered the RC 2” leveling struts and 275/60/20 on stock night edition wheels.
2019 Bighorn night edition all black.

Top hats are bad and will squeak in time you did it right with the struts

Non ORP bighorn 4x4. Will be ordering my motofab top hat spacers soon. I can’t decide between 2” and 2.5”. I’ve read the many many threads here. My measurements are just over 2” difference between front and rear. I think the 2.5 would look better but, will the extra .5” be too much for the stock UCA angle?

Looking for opinions and testimonials. Thanks!

No, not until I installed the Husky mud guards. I trimmed a little off the inside curve and it doesn't rub any more.

Falken Wildpeak AT3's 275/60R20

Y’all have probably seen my truck pictures floating around before but I’ll add to the thread since I like to show off my truck. 2” motofab puck. Nothing done to the rear lift wise. 20x9” 0 offset wheels. 275/60/20 Wildpeak tires. No rubbing even when stock. Measures almost even top of wheel well to the ground on all four corners. I haven’t measured in a while but it might have come down a little bit. To the eye it looks like the front might be a little bit lower but it gave me exactly 2”. My driveway is tilted up

Top hats are bad and will squeak in time you did it right with the struts

They'll only squeak if they're not tightened properly. I've put them on a lot of trucks, and have had no issues with squeaking except for once. On that truck we just cranked them down without a torque wrench and it started to squeak after about 2 years. Every other truck we've put them on we've torqued according to spec and haven't had any noise from them even after years of use.

That said, struts are a great choice too. I don't use them because they tend to cost more, have a different feel and require you to compress the spring during install. I don't want to spend more than I have to, I like the factory ride, and I really hate using spring compressors. So top hats it is. But a quality strut is an effective way to level a truck.

Thanks! I don't think Im going to mess with the air dam.. I like the look with it removed, but will try and save whatever minimal MPG I can.. lol
