18” Wheels That Fit - No Brake Interference

where were the weights placed ?
Apologies for leaving this critical piece of info out! They have to be placed on the outboard edge of the wheel otherwise they'll make contact with the caliper.

I found this out after I brought the wheels and tires home and mounted them. I removed any weights that were mounted on the inboard part of the wheel and took them back to the shop and they were able to get them balanced without issue. They've been on for about 3k miles and they ride as smooth as day one.

What lugs are those?

Thse Methods 312 are also 18's but also require the weights to be placed similar to the Fuels. Not crazy about the offset, I wish they had a little more poke.

Just because I'm still running them, doesn't mean I'm too confident in them. I've had the wheels on and off probably 10 times and they don't show any signs of fatigue, something about $30 lug nuts bother me though. They've been on my list to replace!

I had those deform on me years ago.

Mayhem combat 8105 18x9 with -12mm offset, will not fit over brake caliper. Really bummed out. 2021 rebel.

Thought that I’d share because I definitely know the struggle… I have a 2022 Rebel with 18x9 fuel shok with a -12 offset on 295/70/18 cooper evolution tires (34.3”x11.6”) I have a 2” rough county level in the front and absolutely no rubbing. I’m happy with the look. I’ll update the pictures once it stops raining in Seattle and I can clean it up.83DF5D11-4BE7-4746-8C72-DB5AF856DBA7.jpeg

I just put on the 18x9 -12 fuel ammo. Drove off and the weight hit the caliper and came off. Shop had to adjust the weight placement as other have annotated

Working with Custom Wheels Offsets crew to find a wheel setup that will work on my 2021 Rebel.
Vision Alloy stated none of their 18” will fit.
CWO contacting Mamba, Mayhem and Luxxx tomorrow to see if their 18’s will fit and if a 3/8’s spacer will help. I’m currently looking at 18x9 -12 offset wheels.
New posting here and thank you all for the info.

In order to get my 18" Rays Gram Lights 57DR-X rims and wheel weights to clear the front brake calipers, I had to shave down the casting marks on the calipers and use low profile wheel weights, which I explain here

Cheers

Method 701 18x9 fit, factory Offset. Weights have to go close to the spokes like the others have mentioned here. Will take a picture to post.

After much research and sending a set of Mayhem Chaos wheels back I got 18x9 -12 Mayhem Warriors. Fit with no rubbing on calipers.

I'm currently in this dilemma right now.
Sold my 2019 BigHorn a couple weeks ago when my 2023 GT showed up.My 2019 had 18" American Racing wheels and I loved the look. No rub with a 2" level and 35" tire.

I thought I had the perfect wheel picked out and then the folks said "Hey wait...time out...these might not fit."
Vision KORUPT 405

When I check the "Fitment" guide on the website, it says it won't fit, but when I click the link that says "See wheels that do fit" ... then it suggests they do in fact fit.
Do I just order them and send them back if they don't work? I mean, all the numbers suggest they should work just fine.

Old 2019 ran and fit great

New Laramie GT needs better wheels/tires

Confirmed:
Method Racing 305 NV, 18x9 -12mm, 6x139.7

Well I pulled the trigger as my shop offered to return them if there were problems.
18" Vision 405 KORUPT (-12). Can confirm, they fit over the calipers, but there's no room on the inside for wheel weights and no lip for the hammer on kind either. Could get out front but we opted to try them naked.
Took it down the interstate going 85 with no weights at all and it ran fine, so I'm gonna run it till it's time for a rotation and decided if he needs to pop the tire and put in balancing beads.

Def happy for now
