I also had this. Try setting your stations then go to your seat memory settings and save your profile. This fixed my issueMy FM/AM presets continue to get reset (to what was programmed when I bought it a month ago) every couple of days. How can I make this stop resetting?
I suggest taking it in to the dealer for a software update. I have never set up a profile and you shouldn’t have to for favorites and presets to be saved.I also had this. Try setting your stations then go to your seat memory settings and save your profile. This fixed my issue
Any update on this? My screen locked up today. Restarting, waiting 30 mins, ..etc...have not fixed it.Got in my truck this morning and the 12" uconnect system wouldn't come on. Found this thread and tried everything except disconnecting the battery to reboot it. Nothing worked. Disconnecting the battery seemed a bit over kill since I assume that would reset the ECU and require relearning the idle trim and shift parameters. Instead I looked up the fuse and pulled it. That did the trick. It's running now but missing all the features (like seat ventilation controls). I'm hoping that will come back by tomorrow when it's had time to sync all the settings (or whatever it does).
If anyone wants to try the fuse pull it requires some tools to access the fuse box under the steering wheel. The instruction manual had very little information on how to access the fuse box but I was able to figure it out. If anyone else wants to try here's the instructions:
1. Remove the two screws from the knee panel under the steering wheel with a 7mm or 9/32 socket or nut driver.
2. Gently but firmly pull on the left edge of the panel to pop out the 3 clips then do the same for the right side
3. With the panel out of the way, you should see the interior fuse box
4. Find a 20 amp fuse on the middle right side labeled F44
5. Pull the fuse, wait a second, then reinsert it
6. Pop the knee panel back in and fasten the screws
This is the first vehicle I've ever seen that requires tools to access the interior fuse box. I should probably keep a nut driver and fuse puller in the glove box in case it happens again.
He isn't the only one. I am very, very disappointed in the local dealer. Lots of circular talk and very little action. They offered no help at all for a similar issue except the "sometime in the future" update. It also appears they did a deep background check for some unknown reason as I paid cash.Oh cool. They sold you a defective product and are now telling you to wait with no firm answer as to when a fix would come out. Dang man.
Got a similar problem with my 2019 limited radio stuck in a reboot mode Went to the Dodge dealer he success to Get a new 12" touch screen radioHi Cruzer1,
We're sorry to see that you are having a tough time with your Uconnect system. We would be happy to create a case and document this on your behalf. Please send us a PM with your VIN and mileage to get started.
