Post them in the FS section… and I hope you can ship. I’ll take them off your hands. I need something to last me another 6 to 8 months until my TRX is delivered.
Now is one of the rare times where it’s possible. Take advantage while you can. If I was in a more ready to buy state for my TRX, I could’ve gotten $15k out of it. My truck, albeit nothing special at all, was worth close to what I paid three years ago…
Whatever you do, you can’t really lose...
I bought my '19 when the lease ended, and it couldn't have been easier. You get a letter in the mail telling you what your options are, either return it or buy it. If you opt to buy it, call the bank that holds your lease, and they take care of most of it.
If you really wanted, you can probably...
Well, I finally got round to doing it last night. I had to pay the extra $49 for the AlfaOBD software and modify the kids Fire tablet to have the Play Store... but we are done! No more flickering, no more random turning off, just working as they should. Process took minutes... probably took me...
The motor is also still breaking in. It'll get a bit better once you pass the 1000+ mile marker. These trucks aren't great for fuel... but you are driving a truck. You didn't buy it for economy. LOL.
Appreciate it, fella! I've already got the one I mentioned in the OP and I have also got my bypass cable. I'll be giving this a try this coming week. I'm not worried about saving some cash usually, but $100 is definitely appealing! $100 saved is $100 closer to my TRX... XD
I'm thinking I messed up... is the thing I ordered only a scanner, not a programmer? If so, I'll send it back and grab the proper one. I guess I just need to look into it more as I was a little hasty with the trigger pulling.
I switched the housings, OEM for OEM. Funnily enough, they worked fine this afternoon on the drive home. I think the lower temperature in the morning caused a change in resistance, big enough to think there's a short and it shut itself off for safety. Just a theory (coming from my IT background)...
Hey guys,
I upgraded my 2019 from the stock halogens to the OEM LEDs and they used to work just fine, albeit the left one would flicker rapidly... the right was fine. This morning, the right came on momentarily when making a right turn and then shut off.
If I am not mistaken, I think it is...
Well, I got them installed… the left one flickers rapidly but is close enough to being on and the right is constant, without issue. Is this a sign that the BCM needs to be flashed??
Hey guys,
I am sure this has already been posted, but my searching skills or my phone are letting me down hard…
I just need to know what’s needed to perform the upgrade. I bought the LED kit last year (yeah, I know… life is extraordinarily busy!) and would like to finally get it installed...
I unfortunately didn’t spec mine with them and regretted it almost immediately. I spent the $2k to change them over myself in the end. Best change I’ve ever made! Well worth the $1k from factory in my opinion. I did resell the old lights to take out some of the sting. Only cost me about $200 for...
I’ve had mine for two years and the only issue I’ve had is the backup camera failing. The dealer had it replaced in under an hour along with my oil/tire rotation. No big deal at all.
My dealer sold five of them to one buyer. I bet that they’re flipping them. It’s my dream to own one... never mind the Vette and whatever else. I want this truck! :D
My sticker is just shy of $49k but I got it for $43k. Not the best savings given how much others have saved... but it was the best I could do at the time. I guess you can knock a further $2k off as they paid off my previous lease as part of the deal. So $41k all in. Sounds better, doesn’t it...
