I sense a lot of us 2019 owners have put this project off or attempted to prolong it with some type of coating. I read one guy on here tackled the pan replacement, but I haven’t been able to get any feedback from him. Anyone else did it themselves, or will you be having the dealer/shop (out of...
Looks awesome man! Any more shots from a distance by chance? I’m actually considering those tires. I have 275/60/20 Wildpeaks, which actually measure 33.1.” Always liked the idea of staying 4 ply, and I see those tires have a true height of 33.4” which is sweet!
275/60/20 (~33x11) is pretty much the biggest you can go maintaining a 4 ply tire. Not sure if going 10 ply matters to you, but just a thought. It’s about an inch taller than stock and you don’t need a leveling kit for it. Here’s my truck with 275/60/20 Falken Wildpeaks, a 1/2” spacer up front...
Anybody have a set of crossbars installed over their tonneau cover?I have a low profile cover (mounts inside the rail) and I’m looking to install these without drilling into the rail. I’ve seen a few different things across other truck platforms, but was hoping someone here has done it. Below is...
I hear ya man. I’m actually looking to accomplish the same, so I’m keeping an eye on your plans ahah. Unfortunately there’s no 1” spacer option for the front, unless you stacked two 1/2” spacers and got longer mounting bolts. I’ve looked into adding ORP springs to the stock shots, but it sounds...
Sounds like it’s for the best. Like many have said, a new truck can be had for a smokin’ deal, but I understand that extra $5k or so may be out of your price range. My only advice: if you’re gonna drive across the country for it, at least find yourself one with the LED lighting group.
ORP front shock: 68404037AD
Non-ORP: 68404036AD
The ORP part number states off-road/North edition in the product description, which leads me to believe it is indeed tuned different, although they look the same
I recall seeing a photo on here somewhere with ORP and non-ORP shocks next to each other with no visible differences. I know others have confirmed the ORP springs are indeed ~3/4” taller than stock. I just worry about the ride paired up with a stock shock. I’m thinking I may just go for it
Going 10 ply will definitely harshen the ride a little and, as said above, isn’t needed. I’d say go 275/60 in either of those tires. Going that route you stick with the 4 ply and gain ~1” in height from stock. They’ll fit without the level, but it sounds like you’re going for that look
Pretty safe bet you’d be able build an aftermarket set-up for less $$, less headache, and end up with a far better quality system. I have the base 6 speaker...upgraded the dash 3.5s and added a small sub. Initially planned on doing the doors, but I’m beyond happy with the current result.
