Thank you for letting me know. I took a look at those as well. Please let me know how they feel. If they are nearly no different than stock or so on. Thanks again and in advance!
19' Limited w/canopy. 18000 miles. (29000kms). Purchased Jan 2019. Love my truck. Would buy again in a heartbeat. No problems at all. Best all around vehicle I have ever owned.. especially in comfort.
Yes.. I drive my truck a little harder than your average half ton driver. The factory brake feel and fade resistance is actually quite impressive. My goal with upgrading the brakes including rotors if possible would be too keep the best trade-off of comfort and street-ability while adding some...
Was the start-up noise you heard almost like a slight whistle? My 19' Limited that I drive sometimes as hard as my GTR quite often on startup has a noise that sounds like air escaping from underneath the truck or like a synthetic whistle or steam being released. Any similarities? Thanks!
What are the majority of you doing with the oil & gunk you drain from your catch cans? Throwing straight into the garbage? Taking the time to put it into used oil containers and find a place to dispose? Dumping it down your closest sewer drain? :p Seriously.. I wonder what most people are doing..
You may want a Prius or Honda Insight as a fun summer & Sunday driver then :p...I am sure either would really get your juices flowing.. (poking fun because I hate being behind people like you if your in the left lane :ROFLMAO:)
I have had it for 2 days and I have to say it is the best purchase I have ever made. I previously had bought a borla street exhaust but took it off the same day because like you I just wanted some nice growl when I put my foot into it. But now with the S&B... It is exactly like stock until you...
Mine went well and no problems too. Had done it about 5 days ago and just got into my truck this morning and my SXM radio station presets are back to factory but atleast it left The Highway channel on and playing. Which is the only reason the truck did not burn to the ground on the spot.
Put AMS oil SS oil & filter instead of Pennzoil PUP this time. While it drained.. I installed S&B air intake (sooo purrrrrdy). Also replaced cabin air filter with K&N rechargeable cabin air filter. Now just waiting too get off work so I can go for the first drive and try and see any difference...
Installed and took off to return not too long after... Turns it into a city slicker truck. Off road even on easy access & dirt roads had a noticeable difference on the ride quality and feel. The truck felt less composed and like it fell into imperfections instead of rolling in and through them...
I am seriously considering this lift now. I am interested to know the approx. Labor time I should be expecting or pay as a reasonable amount. Hours/flat rate? Thanks!
Not sure where you are looking. But I am a Finance Manager inside a dealership and my job day in and day out is to know and sell these warranties and know all manufacturers as such. There is a possibility that a couple brands this does not hold true for (of which I do not know) but my experience...
Thanks for the explanation. I guess the catalytic converter failure would definitely not make the manufacturers happy to put a pass on because this is usually the longest warrantied item in a vehicle of all manufacturers. Usually 8 years compared to 5 like powertrain :p
Explain the gains seen in this 5.3 NA engine with CAI alone then if you know for a fact these are all just aesthetics and do not add any power to NA engines. 1 popular example of many. Do not just try to disregard this video as being from a successful youtuber as there are many others just like it.
