2019 Ram Exhaust Manifold Cracked

Sad to report but my 2019 Ram Limited with 29,000 miles developed a loud noise at start up. Service manager just called and said the passenger side exhaust manifold was completely cracked. He said this is the first one he has seen on the gen 5ers. I guess I need to stop standing on the accelerator!

Well to give the service mgr a break, I take it to a Jeep dealer so they don't see many RAMs. They do own a RAM dealership about 50 miles away so I trust them to work on it.

Was the start-up noise you heard almost like a slight whistle? My 19' Limited that I drive sometimes as hard as my GTR quite often on startup has a noise that sounds like air escaping from underneath the truck or like a synthetic whistle or steam being released. Any similarities? Thanks!

When you have a build design flaw like this for YEARS and it's still an issue, that's unexcusable. Shame on FCA.

It might have, but I have hearing aids, so I didn't notice that. The sound to me was just loud exhaust noise.
