Yup, those are the Go Rhino Dominator DSS steps. They’re certainly not rock sliders, and I wouldn’t test them as such. Not unless you want to rip the mounting studs/sheet metal right out of the back of the rocker panel, that is.
Check their post on Facebook announcing the 4-inch kit. I pointed out that the pictures from their website show a truck equipped with air-ride and they responded that they would be releasing the air-ride 4-inch kit in just a couple of weeks, they're already in production. Good news, I'm...
That's exactly where I was stuck when choosing between the Dominator D6 and DSS. I like the look of the DSS much better than my D6 steps, but I had a feeling they would be a little less functional in use. If I had to do it again, I might go with the DSS based on the looks, but I'm sure the...
I'm not sure if anyone around here has enough miles on their 2019's yet to answer this definitively, but I can tell you that I have just over 10,000 miles on the clock and my tires still look brand new and have worn very evenly. I haven't run an actual tread depth gauge on them since I haven't...
Vice Designs just posted on Facebook today, they're looking for a couple of DT Rams for a free winch mount and install in exchange for leaving the truck a couple of days and filming an install video. We must be getting VERY close now.
Welcome to the club! I’ve owned quite a few trucks over the years (Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Nissan) so I’m confident in saying that my 2019 Ram Rebel is my favorite one to date. The comfort, interior design, technology, and styling are way ahead of the pack this time around. It’s got a few things...
Westin Automotive, it’s their product showcase Ram. Not sure if the rack is in production yet, a good amount of the parts on that truck aren’t yet available. Check their website and input your truck details, should show you everything they have for it.
Not sure about the Westin HDX, but that was a BIG reason I went with my steps... go ahead, open your door into my truck ***hole, you won't be pleased with the results! :)
Mine came off the lot with the factory black running boards, I absolutely HATED them as they hang very low and don't really match the style of the Rebel. I ended up slapping on set of Go Rhino Dominator D6 steps and I couldn't be happier! They sit much higher so they won't get in the way while...
I'm guessing they've dropped the diff using bracket adapters or bushings, but it still looks like they were only able to drop it enough to keep the CV's at the very edge of the angle range. Not sure how I feel about this lift, I think this is gonna be a pass for me. Truck looks good though...
I personally would never own a truck or SUV without 4wd, but I find myself off-road a LOT. If I didn’t actually use the 4wd for off-road purposes, I would have no problem owning a 2wd truck. I never use 4wd in rain and only rarely in snow, it’s really not necessary if you understand how to...
A full locking diff is far more useful, but unlike LSD, you do have to know when to engage and disengage it on your own. Also, LSD is dependent on clutch packs that do wear out with use, eventually rendering your LSD completely usuless until they’re replaced.
Personally, I’d only own a 4x4...
I nearly bought a 2018 Power Wagon in November instead of my Rebel. They were giving away fully loaded Power Wagons for $12,000 off the sticker, ended up being about $7,000 cheaper than what I picked up my Rebel for. They’re badass machines, no doubt, but they ride like crap compared to my...
I've read through every comment in this post and I haven't seen this answered yet... does the power folding mirror assembly include LED lights for the turn signal and courtesy lamps? My 2019 Rebel has the manual tow mirrors equipped (I hate them beyond words) and I'd love to replace them with...
Anything is possible when you throw enough money at it, but it will cost you far more to add it in than it would have as a factory equipped option, more than it's worth. You'd be replacing the shocks, springs (for airbags), adding wiring, air lines, the compressor, the dash panel switch, etc...
I've had both in the past, there are pros and cons to each. I think the Ridge Grapplers do a bit better in the mud than the Duratracs, they both handled snow and ice comparably, the Duratracs were definitely quieter throughout the duration of their life. Both tires love to hold onto rocks and...
The light on the cluster screen won’t come on unless you enable it in the Uconnect settings. Once enabled, it should come on at cruising speeds under 65mph, or somewhere thereabouts.
Something else I'd like to add... I'm getting consistently better MPG as I put more miles on the truck. I've got just over 4k miles on the clock now and I'm getting about 1.5MPG more than when the truck was new. This isn't really a surprise, I fully expected it to get better as the truck...
