I have had a Tazer DT on my 2022 Limited Longhorn Ecodiesel with 12inch UC5 for just about a year already. I haven't updated the firmware since the first install.
The screen interface is my biggest complaint, the menu titles usually disappear as quick as you can read them, you can still select...
I read somewhere that that stock mounting bolts for the struts may be too long and actually stick up higher than the thickness of the spacer(by like 1/64"), so when the spacer is tightened down it is not touching the mount it is riding in the ends of the factory bolts, which move when...
In my uconnect 5, Some where there is a setting labeled "allow siriusxm to see vehicle location" or something similar, maybe this is the same as enabling geolocation. Uc4 might be different
I put 2inch levelling spacers(front and rear) on my 2022 non-orp, non-airride Longhorn Limited and run LT285/65R20 KO2, which are the equivalent of 35x11R20, on stock 20x9 rims, and will have zero rub once I trim my mud flaps.
If you run 35x12.50R20 on stock rims you will have some rubbing...
Have had my 22 Limited Longhorn with Uconnect 5 for just over a month now and in that time I have only had the internet connect (Siriusxm internet channels) maybe a dozen times out of the numerous starts each day (probably 75 or more starts).
Took it to the dealer, they say everything is up to...
Heres my 2022 Limited Longhorn Ecodiesel non-orp with 2" front and rear spacers (MZS branded off of Amazon, under $140cdn for them) BFGoodrich Radial All Terrain KO2 LT285/65R20 tires. Tires rub just slightly on the inside top edge of the mud flaps, which I can either trim or just screw them to...
My salesman, who is their internet sales specialist (small dealer-only 3 sales people), told me that as soon as a vehicle is released to them (not sure exactly what that means) it is automatically posted to their inventory and he has to be vigilant about removing sold vehicles ASAP. Mine was...
My Tazer arrived on Monday about lunch time...installed it after supper...works alright.
Nav in motion causes my search bar to quit completely (says cannot type while vehicle is in motion....even though it is in park). Audio channel info appears over top of most of the Tazer menus, if you...
Was playing around with AlphaOBD offline (not connected to my truck) and found the attached setting option under Body Computer, DT MY2022 POWERNET, car configuration change, and then scroll right to the end of the options....
Would this eliminate the need for a security bypass module?
Haha....fat fingers on a phone screen....
Emailed Z Automotive again and they responded....they haven't officially tested on 2022's but have customers who say it works.
So ordered mine today and will let you know....
Does anyone know if the Tazer DT will work with the 2022's(Ecodiesel, Uconnect 5, etc)?
Web pages indicate up to 2021, vehicle lookup shows same...but if you dowload the instructions they say 2018 to 2022.
Emailed Z Automotive and never got a reply....
Mine finally arrived...ordered Mar 10 as a 2021, flipped to a 2022 in July...arrived as ordered (I missed the limited slip differential option when I okayed the order...but we are working on it) on Oct 12...too bad I have to wait for at least a week...fly out tonight for work...
