That is not the camera wire. That is a wire for one of the antennas. And one your truck doesn’t use I gather. Camera wires are 4 pin connectors. Power ground signal and ground.
The system is in metric not imperial even for a dealer. In fact on witech you have to go to your preferences and change to metric in order to enter the values into the system. No idea if alpha will do this.
Dealers do have the ability to adjust side by side. In fact the entry is for all four corners. But they have to measure all four corners not just one side to fix it. Can also reduce the rear numbers by 20-30mm to get the truck level. Front to back.
Done it already posted about it. 12” screen fire tv installed video in motion. 12” with 360 cam equipped vehicle.

Using a tazer
Cargo cam input ( must reset radio with tazer ) or...
I have personally had that issue. I’m a tech and we have installed a new valve body from mopar in the 8p75 ( trans you have ) and the Tcm or trans computer attached to the valve body was dead. This has happened twice. The controller simple doesn’t work or talk. So like what they had to do...
I stand corrected.
It is possible to get the cargo cam input working with the 12” screen equipped with the surround view camera system.
Using a Z-Automotive DT Tazer you can activate the cargo camera input.
On my truck I have the hotspot enabled ( paid for the year)
hdmi to composite...
I also have oem installed power running boards. However I have never deployed them myself via the screen. Why would I do that when I can open a door and they go down for me. Anyways I have had a dead battery and stuck on cluster many times. I would say 9/10 times it has happened I was...
There is no option when you enable it right now after a few key cycles and sleeps when you choose the reverse camera an icon may appear on the screen maybe top left of screen. If it shows up there it should be doable. Again I don’t have a local person I can test this on.
I know it isn’t right but you do know a 1/2 a qt over filled would never cause damage right ? I mean even after sitting for hours and the oil drains from the heads to the pan that amount of oil wouldn’t even breach the windage tray. The amount of space all of the Hemi pans have even a full qt...
So basically there is a chance to add a camera to the cargo camera input on non 360 equipped vehicles and use that as a front camera selection. After market camera will be needed or you’ll have to buy oem cut the cable (inside vehicle connection) and solder an rca end on to it. As that fakra...
Does anyone here have a tazer on an 8.4 or 12 inch screen? Can you activate the cargo camera input and see an icon on the screen when you either press the reverse camera input or put the vehicle in reverse?
If you have a tazer and activate the cargo camera feature and it shows up than you should...
I’d imagine viper smart start modules with the correct interface are working. I’ve seen some one with a new body DT have a viper remote start installed. I have oem start and things your looking for already so other than seeing it I haven’t looked for it. So a viper smart start with an...
Dealers are limited to what they can do. There is a vehicle option section after they enter your vin. If what you did is there it can possible be done. I say possible because there is no guarantee adding a sales code to the vehicle configuration will work. There is other factors as well for...
According to diagrams. Chmsl with non surround equipped vehicles uses pin 22 for ground and 21 for signal on the radios large harness. To interface use an rca cable with the correct pins in the harness and it should work. Another chart shows pin 32 ground 31 signal. I don’t have a non...
. I can do it. For locals FYI that box has an output that goes to the radio to the input that the non equipped cars use for backup camera. And then that box does all the work. And through can network the radio displays options for cam choice. The radio still only receives one video input.
for non surround equipped cars the camera plugs into the radio. However yes it’s not an rca it uses a 4 pin round coax cable.
. Not digital but not rca oem either. No oem uses rcas.
