I’ve noticed no bounce to the rear end. No issues with compression or droop travel when off roading and haven taken some pretty big hits. Usually ride around with 0-5psi daily or off-roading and never had issues with the bags tearing, busting lines or the schrader valves. Pics are not fool...
Just got my truck aligned two days ago with the same issue. Thought the camber might be off. Tech told the “the toe was kicked out”. Said it’s a common cause of quicker wear to the outside of the tires. Hope this helps.
I did 285/70r18 for commuting and towing quite a bit. I’m at 40,000 miles on the tires. Still have a little under half the tread life left, tires started getting a little noisier but not bad by any means. Rides getting a little rougher due to some of the knobs becoming a little more prominent...
I’m not doing as much of the fast off-roading that I used to and still wanted something soft on and off road. Was trying to decide between the commuter or go custom valving with fox 2.5 from accutune. The price point of the Carli commuter appealed to me but then again so does the reliability of...
Anyone have the Carli spec 2.5 commuter kit and can shed light on onroad/offroad ride quality and actual height you achieved? All the reviews I’ve read elsewhere have said “so much better than stock” or “best ride we’ve achieved”……doesn’t really help.
Only info Carli gave was even though it’s...
Trailer has been great for us. No issues with electrical or leaks, tows great. Only down side were the bunks not having a ladder from the factory but we bolted on some handles for the kids and made it work.
How much research did you do into the Carli commuter. I’m in the same boat of maybe opting for the commuter from my 6112s but concerned they might not have enough off-road capability being the “commuter package”. Heard mixed reviews on potential Carli commuter ride quality. Looking for something...
My 6112s even at road or highway speeds still ride rough. It’s not until I get into the bigger hits off roading that the valving really softens up and smooths out. The 6112s have great handling on and off road tho
I did the 6112 on highest setting, E rated 34s and 1” block to the rear Have about 3/4” rake. Daily ride is somewhat stiff and washboards/rocky terrain at speed rattle my teeth loose, even at 20psi lol. Gonna be swapping out for Accutunes Fox DSC soon.
Had my tank replaced about a month ago, maybe 2. Fueled up twice and the issue started again. Thought it may be the fresh air filter, d/c’d it and fuel up, still had issues. Looking at the length of the pump nozzle, they seem shorter than I remember. Last 4 times I’ve fueled up I push the nozzle...
Thanks for the responses, a lot to consider. I’ve seen a lot of f150s and some ram 1500s towing 1/2 ton 5th wheels but I’d rather not be at the max of tow capacity. May rethink the options and figure something else out. Thanks for the help everyone
Don’t judge haha. My first time wiring. More has been added since. Looking back at it, there were better ways to hide the wires and maybe more efficient but had fun learning blah blah blah.
