I am in Monterey area. The shops are recommending Napa parts. But I am not sure. The pulsing was intermittent so I had been putting it off. But yesterday I started hearing noise when I hit the brakes, sounds like metal on metal. I think one of the pads have completely failed. Very surprising as...
I missed your reply, until now that I want to finally do something about the brakes. No heavy use of brakes. I even thought maybe that was the problem and did a few emergency stop simulations. Helped a little. But like you said the rotors are warped I think. So did you upgrade to cross drilled...
How about remote start? If it is related to how much pressure is applied to the brake pedal remote start should never have it, right?
Edit: my 2019 1500 Laramie, 32k miles has this as well. The noise appears to be coming from the rear and sounds like the ones in the videos posted here.
Yeah I was shocked to hear there is another leak. Yes, the dealer has been great so far. The fact that they fixed the sunroof issue was great news for me. On top of that they identified another leak issue and will make arrangements with a body shop to schedule me in. So the dealer have exceeded...
Update: dealer replaced the seal and realigned the sunroof. Now it sits flush on both sides and dealer said no more leaks from sunroof. But they found leak from the driver's side A pillar :( Basically I have to take the truck back for the driver's side fender to removed and a fix applied...
This is the doc dealer just shared with me. They have just fixed a leaking sunroof and discovered this leak. They said I will have to take the truck back in for the driver's side fender to be removed and this fix applied :( My Ram 1500 has the 2/19 build date.
Thanks for chiming in! If that is the case with mine as well it would be awesome! I will take a look at it later today.
Edit: I found this thread when searched wind noise: https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/wind-noise-from-the-sunroof.3576/post-121451
Thanks for confirming the flush fit. I am not sure where the water is coming from. Dealer tested for a leak and the drivers side trim on the pillar was full of water. I think they just used a hose to spray water and it leaked into the truck far more than what I have seen after snow or rain.
So my 2019 Ram Laramie 1500 came with a leaky sunroof when I bought it in Jan 2021. Long story short, it is covered under warranty and dealer I took it to has ordered new seals (there was tech bulletin about it I understand). But I noticed that the two glass pieces do not sit flush when it is...
I noticed water dripping through the little square openings in the roof after some snow the night before. My 2019 Laramie 1500 is back at the dealer for oil service and some repairs. I mentioned the water leak from the sun roof, I hope they can figure out the cause and fix it. The water drips...
I see. Not being able to complete recalls would be a big concern. Ram dealer that I bought the truck from did not provide any disclosures about not being able to complete recalls. Were you told about such issues upfront? I'd expect that, as mandated by the federal law, Ram must be able to...
Yeah I bought it from a Ram dealer. And today they confirmed the factory warranty is valid as it says on mopar.com. Reading the details above it talks about rental one being valid, yeah my truck was a rental in Canada.
