The TRX is a bad a$$ truck but I just don't see it being a practical "driver". As many miles as you drive I would stick with what you have. If you were looking for a fun weekend truck to drive I'd say the TRX.
.
Dealers are hungry to buy trucks and will pay top dollar. Problem is, if you need to replace it you are going to pay out the rear for the new one. It sounds good up front but if you run the numbers it didn't make sense to me given the cost of the new trucks.

Yes you would lower the pressure for off road, just saying the F rating is capable of higher pressures (usually). It truly is convoluted and confusing. Because the F technically has more plys it may take a little more off road abuse?
The snow rating, which is M+S or now a snowflake is a...
Welcome..
There are some 2022 build trackers on some of the other sites but I'm guessing you are in for a long wait (and it's getting worse). It's really going to depend on your options as well, the more options, the longer the wait. If I had to guess I'm sure you are easily looking at 2022...
These load ratings are getting so convoluted these days because they use both the old "rating" (letter) and the newer "index" (number) on the same tire.
That load "rated" F tire only has a load "index" of 125. There are "E" tires that can carry more weight then that. The F would be a tougher...
Keep in mind, that is one of those options affected by the chip shortage and they have limited it's availability to only the top trim models so it may push you into a higher trim then you are looking for if it is a must have.
.
The upper trims can be optioned very similar to each other but the caviat is you cannot add certain features to the lower trims. Like heated/cooled seats in a tradesman would be an example.
Also there will be interior and accent upgrades as you go up in trim that are not "options" that you can...
Not sure on the new 1500's but in the 2500's it gives you a lot of little things as well like better door panels that actually have some padding on them vs that hard plastic, other upgraded trim parts, and of course ability to add more additional options.
There really is a lot of overlap with...
I hate, hate, hate, it, but have to agree it is setting a precedent and could be a slippery slope we are heading down. Next's it lifted trucks, before you know it any tire size that is not OEM will be banned, after market bumpers, etc.
.
Did you ever find a center console? I'm looking for a jump seat to retro fit into my gen 4 if you are looking to sell yours? Just wanting to upgrade my current jumpset to the new style with the usb chargers etc.
.
Yep, There are plenty of pictures and articles floating around that prove this. Thousands and thousands of trucks just waiting....
Ram may have been a little better prepared or the decesion to sell trucks by removing options they couldn't build surely played a part.

Well, most of the Ford trucks are sitting on storage lots waiting for parts so this is really an artificial victory and temporary because of the covid created shortages.
.
Looks like a shift on the fly tuning switch that we use in the diesel trucks but have no idea what it would be in a hemi? Can you trace the wires and see where it goes? Definitely not stock.
.
The only benefit is they maintain pressure over temperature swings. Regular air has worked for ages and much easier to deal with if you need to add some. I thought the nitrogen fad had passed a few years ago?
.
Factory wheels are some of the truest running wheels you will find so that tire dealer is full of crap. The spacers are most likely your problem. If not it's going to be balance (or something loose in the suspension).
