    Tire rotation for 35’s

Hey all, silly question, but it’s my understanding that I should get my tires rotated every 5,000 miles~ with oil changes, front to back. It is front to back for the rotation right? Also, is there ever a need to rotate the tires left to right? Tires are Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/65/r20 Sent...

    Scratch removal help

Nah it’s deep. I could feel the little broken up paint chips with my finger. It definitely took the paint of where that main scratch is. I think the scratch on the tail light might come off. And I’m not sure about the scratches on the bumper. I’ll have to get a better look at them later

    Scratch removal help

I’m really looking for a lesser expensive option that will make it as less noticeable as possible. As annoying as it is, it’s a truck, I live in the city, it’s gonna happen. I’m pretty sure it was a lady walking to her car while I was pulling into the parking spot. When I got out and walked...

    Scratch removal help

Was at the grocery store last not and came out to a pretty solid scratch on my truck. Looking for suggestions on the best way to minimize how noticeable it is. I’ve never used the scratch removers from Amazon. I know some car washes can try to buff them out. I don’t want to apply some kind...

3.5” Lift (5100, icon, ReadyLift level)

Nice. I did something similar on the front end to get just over 3” lift instead of only doing the bilsteins and getting just under 3” total. I used the zone 2” leveling kit and UCA with the bilstein 5100s and didn’t use all of the spacers. Ran into a little issue making that work fwiw (icons...

where in Houston to take my truck

Bare with all my word vomit as this is the first draft trying to share this info with y’all. The only before level/lift, wheels and tires, and alignment measurements I got were ground to fender. I did not get any center hub to fender measurements at stock ORP height, but I got multiple...

where in Houston to take my truck

I’m on the west side of town, but if I can find a place that knows the suspension on these trucks well, are honest and have good prices, I can drive down there no problem. Grew up in Pearland. Spent plenty of nights at Eddies country ballroom back in the day 😆

where in Houston to take my truck

All good man. Yes I have the ORP. Yes I got the 1.5” rear icon springs. I got the zone 2” level kit which uses a preload coil spacer and a top mount strut spacer. I plan to disregard the preload coil spacers and use the top mount strut spacers from that kit along with the UCAs. This will give...

Zone Off-Road Adventure Series 2" Level Lift Kit

Nice! Glad you’re likin’ it so far. I ordered the same kit, but am only planning on using the top strut spacer w/ bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks and ORP springs.

Off Road Package with Bilstein 5100's

I got the 2” zone leveling kit with UCAs and the icon 1.5” springs from bilsteinlifts. I’m looking to only use the top strut spacer from the kit and run the bilsteins on setting 3 or 4. Also hoping the Icons provide a true 1.5” of lift in the rear. Still waiting on rear bilsteins to come in stock.

Decided To Not Lift My Truck

This thread was a great read. At 36, I’m in the middle, seeing and feeling both sides of the argument. But being my first full sized 4x4, I’m doing tires and a level/small lift. I may regret it, I may love it.

    Wheel Spacers

I’m looking to keep my stock 20” wheels that ha e +18mm offset. With a 3” front lift, I’m hoping the Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/65r/20 (35.12”x11.77” measured from an 8.5” wheel). I’m thinking these 1/2” spacers will bump me out enough (should have me at about +5mm offto keep me off the UCAs but...

    Icon 1.5” vs Gladiator 2.5” springs—Help

Nice. Thank you. How do you like the ride with that combo? What size tires do you have? I’m seeing some say that it’s a lot less firm and that they are opting for the Helwig sway bar.

    Icon 1.5” vs Gladiator 2.5” springs—Help

Thanks guys! Mad Mater, can you clarify how much additional lift, you got with the icon springs? I’m thinking you should have gained ~1/2” in the rear. It appears you got a lot more than that with a 1/2”taller spring??
