They literally come stock on the 1500 GT. My dealer has installed them on trucks of all trim levels. There’s no issue at all.

4WD HIGH and 4WD LOW should NOT be used on dry, paved surfaces unless travelling in a complete straight line. Turning while in those modes on dry paved surfaces will be harmful in the long run. Having noises and driving problems etc when using those modes on dry paved surfaces can be expected.

I just did this exact thing and am happy. Welded in a Super 40, left the resonators. It gives it decent bark to make the truck sound mean without pissing off the wife and neighbours. Sounds great around town and won’t annoy you on longer drives. Love it!

I use Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer. Love it personally and won’t use anything else. Perfect for all surfaces and cleans well. The wipe version of the product is also very handy for on-the-go cleaning

Pretty normal in my experience. Half the time MDS kicks in and out smoothly and other times it’s exactly how you describe.

On a 5th gen, the ECO light is directly related to MDS.

Does this happen to be a certain volume dealer in Ontario? If so… not that it helps but you’re not alone in your experience. Just wondering :) Sorry about the **** you had to deal with. Unacceptable.
