that's a good deal. I paid $3100 for front fenders, full hood, above the windshield, a-pillars, bumpers, headlights, fogs, grill & surround, handle pockets, rocker panel & lower 1/3 of the body, door edges, fender flares, 2 coats of ceramic & paint correction. Was Stek w/ 10 year warranty...
My '20 limited has the Goodyears and they're complete trash. showed up slightly out of round/broken belt in the radial so I have vibration. it's gotten better. but will def be replacing with michelins.
The Pirellis on my buddy's truck are much much better.
Ditto. Was curious after reading another thread and it's there, and had bugs on it so assuming it works haha. Strange thing it's not on the window sticker, but it is on the build sheet. Now I just gotta test if normal mode + active air dam is more efficient than the truck lowering into aero mode...
You would think so right? I feel like these days the quality of the OEM stockers is crap. I had feathering on the outer shoulder blocks within 3k miles from all of the twisty roads around my area. I got 19k out of my stock AT tires on my wife's Jeep so I just assumed 15k on the Goodyears before...
Could be the fuel pump, but could also be e-throttle body calibrating itself before you start the engine. Air compressor will make adjustments to the pressure in the tank/bags even with the truck off. but that's noticeably loud and comes from further from the back of the truck. if it's a high...
3.55 gears will reduce MPGs. the EPA estimates are always off the base 3.21 gearing and interior features. Same thing with the Hemi w/ 3.21 vs. the 3.92s that I have. Better for off the line accel & towing, worse on fuel econ.
Power luxury options + bigger/heavier wheels add weight and weight...
That was going to be my guess as well. There can be different minerals/deposits from the A/C drain and weep holes since I do notice marks on my garage from both.
also depends on the RPMs your running at. So far my truck with the 3.92 never sees the MDS/Eco mode come on at 70MPH since the RPMs/load is higher on the trucks with 3.92s.
the off-road pack does add some nice features like the all-terrain tires and skid plating, which does add weight and the AT tires will have an impact on handling since it's not specifically designed for just one surface. To be fair, the tall sidewalls will give you a little more bump cushion...
that's part of the reason I ended up getting a limited over a Laramie. Thought about doing the same if I got one, but noticed it's pretty much everything between bumper and the hood is different and has different brackets.
Dip Your Car makes a new Hyper black (gloss) that is really good stuff. I was looking at the Anthracite/gunmetal for my chrome delete on my Max Steel limited.
I built an in bed one out of a couple fork mounts on amazon and a pressure treated 4x4 cut to fit the width between the two front tie downs. It's temporary until I figure out what other rack i want. Ties down with ratchets and works great. No movement at all. Drove to the in-laws about 100 miles...
