I've had my truck from Mark Dodge for a few weeks now. Mine was $1500 IIRC for delivery to SoCal. The guy doing the delivery ended up with a delay - he said it was due to mechanical, but I think he was managing some extra pick up and deliveries. It took and extra day and a half, not a huge deal...
They don't want to over promise. I hope your truck beats that schedule. They told me the same, but mine beat the schedule. Mine was built about 6 weeks from order date, but took another month for delivery to the dealer. Transport system is just over loaded.
I got it a week ago yesterday, so pretty recent. It ended up taking a day longer than originally quoted. I think the guy likely juggled a couple more vehicle deliveries along the way.
I will do that.
Unfortunately the driver just called - he said the truck will now be here Tuesday. He said he "had mechanical issues." Waiting one more day isn't a giant deal, but it's making me wonder if he's telling me the truth. Very concerning and disappointing. I reached out to Mark Dodge...
My truck was picked up at Mark Dodge today, supposed to be here Monday! All the way to California in 2 days and change!
My experience buying from them was as painless as could be. They made everything easy. They are by far the best dealer I've ever bought from.
Same here, I'll be 68 3 months from today.
I got the call from Mark Dodge a few days ago. New truck shipping Saturday, should be here Monday! Hoping this will be "the truck." The crew at MD has been 100 percent from day 1. Logistics guy suggested starting at $1400, I said go $1500 to get it on...
I just tried to duplicate my order on the Ram site. My truck is a (fairly loaded) Limited Longhorn with the Southfork package. It looks like the Southfork option is no longer available, at least I couldn't get it to add. I went with the e-torque, kin of wishing I'd gone with the eco and 4wd...
My closest Ram dealer, and the second closest, are really really bad. I live faaar from Mark Dodge. There is a dealer that isn't too far away that has been decent so far regarding service, and I'm hoping they will be supportive if any warranty issues arise. Here in Ca there's an awful lot of "I...
Thanks to @TripleB I got my BS April 1, and WS on Apr 3. Unfortunately Stellantis isn't able to tell Aaron at MD where it is. I find this just a little frustrating. (nothing but appreciation for Aaron. Every dealer sales person should have his work ethic and professionalism). I never would have...
It depends on which truck you are building. It's been $4995 for at least a year for some models. Other models start with a different engine, and the cost difference is lower. Another thing: the VVT and E-torque engine now have the same cost. If a certain model already comes with a VVT, then the...
Thanks very much!!!!!
For data purposes. my memory is order was confirmed on Feb 14. Aaron was cautious about schedule, and this seems much better/quicker than anticipated. The website says it should have rear reclining seats, but no mention on the build sheet or window sticker. It'll be...
It will be interesting to see. The reclining rear seat isn't mentioned in my build sheet, but is still listed as part of the package for the truck I ordered. I'll be disappointed if it's not there. Mine's a Limited Longhorn Southfork.
Lemon law might end up applying. If they have the truck over 30 days in the first year in Ca for the same issue, it's a lemon. I have a few friends that have been through the process. Overall quality has not been good for some vehicles.
