MPG threads, for the most part, miss one simple point. Comparing one truck to another is useless banter. NO two trucks/cars, even when qonfigured identically, will EVER get the same MPG. And if they do, buy a lotery ticket. There are thousande or parts, all not identical, manufaactured in countries thad don't like us, all assembled on differant days of the week, and driven under vastly differant conditions, ie., differant weather, geografical locaations, under dfferand mood swings, and drivers at differand speeds. Any person that compares the data and expects truck "A" to be the same as trusk "B" to be even close, is insane. You got what you got. Deal with it, and be happy that it even starts in the morning. Did I mention tht these the parts and trucke are assymbled by people that hate us? If you want good MPG, get a Prius, or whatever elst yanks your noodle. Lets face it, some of us got good trucks, and some of us not so much.
Have a nice day, and be safe out there.
