So I'm having the issue where my upper glove box light stays on all the time (2020 1500 Laramie.) I was due for an oil change so while I was at the dealership, I had them check it out. Is it normal for them to just order a whole new glove box? The part number is 5ye141x9-ah.
Can anyone recommend some good seatcovers (really just need the driver side) that are easy to remove? I want something heavy-ish duty to protect my seats from getting in and out with my duty belt on. Thanks in advance
From my experience in the court system (I spend a lot of time in court due to my job) diminished value can be fought. The diminished value check the the insurance company sends you (especially State Farm) is way lower than the actual value lost in an accident. This can be fought in...
The good thing about Lemon Law (at least in Georgia where I just finished mine on a 2019 Silverado) you don't have to pay for the attorney, the manufacturer foots that bill.
The service department at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in Buford, GA is terrible. I took my truck in for a leaking back window that stained the headliner. In the process of replacing the headliner, they gouged both A-pillar panels on the inside when they were taking them down as well as messing up...
So I purchased my 2020 1500 5.7 (no etorque) about a week ago and today is the second time I've driven it as I'm still driving my lemon Chevy. When I'm reversing and slowly let off the brakes, there's a noticeable vibration. Is this normal for these trucks or should I have it looked at?
Dealerships really can make or break your ownership experience. I'm finishing up a Georgia lemon law case on my 2019 Silverado that was 100% the dealership's fault.
I'd definitely try a new dealer. Unless you want out of the truck and want to go the Lemon Law route (varies by state.) My Silverado got Lemon'd completely because of the dealer.
So I finally got approved for my GM Buyback so I'm getting out of my atrocious Chevy and wanted to give this thread a bump for some more recommendations. Anyone?
Yeah, I was raised to be a Chevy guy. I'm looking into a Laramie. I prefer the LED headlights. My Chevy has been at the dealership for just shy of 90 days cumulative and GM is being absolutely no help so I'm done with them.
So I'm in the middle of going through a Lemon Law repurchase of my 2019 Silverado. I'm pretty sure once I get rid of the Chevy, I'll be getting a Ram because they look a lot better and I'm fed up with GM in general. Does anyone have a dealership they recommend in the North Georgia area. I'm in...
As a matter of fact, it's currently in the shop for a headliner replacement due to the leak. I just had the rear window replaced due to it leaking for the second time.
Thanks for the input. The main reason I'm looking at probably leaving Chevy is the poor customer service. It's been at the dealership for 60 days total now mainly due to dealership incompetence. When I called GM about it, they basically told me tough crap, the dealership can do what they want...
Thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for. I know there's going to be issues. Same thing I had with the Chevy. The ram has a much nicer interior is one of the major selling points.
So I'm currently trying to have GM buy back my '19 Silverado as a lemon because it's been at the dealership for a total of 60+ days since I bought it 11 months ago. Are there any major issues with the 20 Rams? Such as on the Silverados the back windows leak, iffy 8 speeds, etc...?
