I havent heard from Ram in over a month , got tired of calling only to get the same bs . Why cant the aholes call me instead ? Guess Ill wait till paint starts popping off again and start another claim. I dont have time to call ram every week to remind them .
Anyone can make mistakes but the issues they created show this place has no pride in their work and no quality control. Also Im probably not going to sell the truck anyway , took it to a Nissan dealer to check into trading on a titan and they offered 16k less than I have in it , not willing to...
Case manager finally got back to me and told me I havent given the dealership enough opportunities to repair the issue correctly . I told him I havent finished cleaning up the overspray from the first time . I have no intention of taking it back to those clowns . If I cant get it painted...
The only solution is replacement of the truck. Im sure mopar wont do that so the best I can hope for is they get the roof looking good and Ill sell it or trade it in. Someone said theyre too tight to loose money on selling it and I agree its gonna suck.
I agree , if this was a minor paint issue I wouldnt be concerned . But paint bubbling anywhere on a new vehicle is a very big deal to me and I dont trust the paint on the rest of the truck either.
Thanks , this is the point Im trying to make , even if it didnt have overspray , tape marks , bubbles and dirt in the paint its still going to be crap later on because nobody wants to do it the way it should be done. And Im sure that even if mopar does get it "looking good "it wont be the kind...
To be clear 51k is a whole lotta money to me too and Im sure they all get the same paint regardless of price. What I should have said is ( thinking about someones comment that they wouldnt get rid of the truck just because of a paint issue ) . Well I would get rid of the truck because of this...
Called mopar today , they gave me a case number and said the dealership I took it to will be giving me a call tomorrow , they get a chance to make it right . On a positive note mopar may be trying to make things right but Im not going to be happy with this truck , I realize 51 thousand dollars...
Thanks for responding , I called Mopar this morning and they gave me a case number so hopefully they can make it right. But Ill still have a 51 thousand dollar truck with aftermarket paint , hopefully the rest of the factory paint isnt as bad as the roof.
Took it to the dealer they set up an appointment to come back for them to take pictures to send to RAM for the warranty claim . The truck was parked right beside the window where the service writer was standing when I went there the first time but he couldnt take the pictures while I was there...
Im in Blue ridge Ga. I called the Jasper Ga. and Dalton Ga. dealerships and they dont have their own body shops either so they cant make appointments for paint and body work.
