My 2019 Rebel has been plagued with electrical issues and has gotten 8 City 13 Highway since the day I got it. Been towed to the dealer twice for not starting. They said it was a loose strap the first time and a loose bolt the next. Dealer mechanic told me it takes 15,000 miles to break it in...
Ram Cares don’t want to buy the vehicle back yet. The dealer is trying to resolve the issues. They said a missing bolt caused the no Starting issue...maybe... last time it was a loose strap.
We’re Really disappointed in Ram and Done with our dealer for good. The truck has had electrical and...
I still haven’t gotten the truck back. Ram cares dont want to buy it back yet... they want to try and have it fixed but they don’t know why it won’t start.
I can’t believe my dealer won’t switch this truck out for us. It’s a Lease, and we Lease a new truck every 2 years... 3rd Ram in 5 years...
I’ll keep ya’s posted. I was feeling pretty good about the truck last week when they “fixed” it.
But I can’t keep doing this. We’re losing time at work etc... and it’s not reliable or worth the $450/ month when we don’t want to drive it anywhere.
The service manager said the only thing he...
Just got my 2019 Rebel back Last Thursday, after having it towed to the dealer for not starting... the dealer said it was a loose ground strap ....and fixed it.
I had to have it towed back to the dealer AGAIN this morning for not starting. But this time It’s completley dead and locked up...
Im hoping the Ground issue was the cause of a lot of the problems.I wonder how they missed it the last 2 times I took it in.
We don’t warm the truck up unless my wife is using it. I have noticed if we pick the kids up from school in the pick up loop the AVG MPGs drop quickly. So I can see how...
I know we shouldn’t expect to get the exact advertised MPGs, but 8 City 12 Highway MPGs in a new truck with 3500 miles on it is Way Way Off the mark lol.
I get around 8-9 MPG in the City and
around 11-12 on the Highway depending on the road inclines, wind etc... there has been times it’s done a...
Thanks for all the replies, I really appreciate them.
I spoke with the dealer service yesterday and they said it was a Ground Issue and they fixed it. So Maybe the Ground issue was causing the bad smells and poor performance. But They had No other explanations for the burning smells, gearing...
Tow truck driver checked battery and it was good. He was stumped. I’m thinking you’re right with the E Torque system since we’re experiencing burning smells and gearing down issues.
The dealer has yet to reach out since they got it 2 days ago. I gave them an earful so maybe I ticked them off...
Still waiting to hear back from dealer. Been 2 days since the truck was towed to the dealer. I’m hoping they will allow me to trade it in for a different truck and not take too big of a hit.
I’m a loyal customer and lease a new truck through this dealer every 3-4 years . I know that don’t count...
It doesn’t have a sun roof so it may be leaky firewall. The burning smell comes and goes, but it seems to be coming from the back so the battery makes sense. The MPGs have been 8-11 since I got it. Can I tell the dealer to keep it until everything’s fixed and MPGs are close to advertised MPGs in...
2019 Ram Rebel E-Torque with 4000 miles on it.
Gets 8-11 MPGs since I got it. It sometimes has a plastic/rubber burning smell within the cab And now its developed a Wet cardboard kind of smell coming from vents. It also gears down to 1st or 2nd gear when you take your foot off the gas sometimes...
TFL Trucks just posted Another Bad MPGs video on the 2019 Rebel. And they explain how the EPA certifies the Window Sticker MPGs. So there is a problem with these trucks. We should be allowed to take them back if we’re unhappy with the MPGs. I’m still
Getting around 10 MPGs on average.
I saw that Episode of TFL! I looked at my wife and said “They’re getting better Gas Mileage towing a Suzuki Samuri through a blizzard in the mountains than I get driving with an empty bed on a sunny day lol.
There’s no doubt there’s something wrong with some of these trucks. I just Hope Ram...
I have a stock 2019 Rebel E Torque. I’ve tried using 87 89 and 91. I’ve also tried Not using the Stop/Start. I got the truck October when it was still warm here and it got 9 MPGs then too. The dealer told me I had to break it in.
It still gets around 9 MPGs now. I do remote start it sometimes...
It’s crazy how bad it is... lol.
Dealer has been no help either.
Honestly how could I tow a Anything with this truck for a long distance trip if it gets 9 mpg with an empty bed?
It’s had the TSB updates. The dealer service don’t k ow what else to do. I had a 2015 Rebel that got the advertised...
