I’m loving the 37’s and wish I’d gone this route from the start. My tie rod ends were torn so I just had the BDS ends installed. Drives amazing and the tires are part of it. These are Maxxis Rzr AT’s and I like them better than Duratracs and Ridge Grapplers.
I didn’t change hubs. I went with the Maxxis Rzr AT’s because I have them on my son’s H3 and love them. Most importantly, they are the smallest, lightest, most aggressive AT/RT tire on the market.
They are not much taller, and -1/2” in width than the 325/60’s I was running. They also are...
UPDATE:
I got more aggressive with the cut off wheel and trimmed more of the pinch weld. Removed the plastic screw-on corner flaps (What are those for?). Trimmed more off my electric air dam. More aggressive shaping of the wheel wells, and zip tied them back.
Previously I had already made my...
I’ll wake this thread back up since there is not a lot of info on this subject. My 325/60r20’s are ready for replacement and I’m going 37’s.
I ordered aftermarket links and am cutting the pinchweld and further reshaping the plastic. I’ll update in a couple weeks when my tires are on. I just...
I have a 2020 e torque and just took it in for the unmistakable sound of an exhaust manifold leak. I have 27k miles and out of bumper to bumper, thankfully it’s covered under power train. All good except the manifolds are on back order and parts had no clue on an ETA.
I just finished my DIY and brought up the front a 1/4” and it’s sits great. The passenger side link needed to be adjusted two full turns more to set the truck level to the driver side. Did anyone else experience that or were your links identical in length when you finished?
I went to Fastenal and they have to order them. I went to a different nut and bolts shop and they don’t have the threaded Rod either. Trying Home Depot for a bolt I can just cut the head off. Anyone done this?
Thanks! I just blacked out all the chrome and it looks so good. I went with whatever shocks came on the lift and no complaints. Get some pics up when you’re lifted.
I have the 5” RC on mine running essentially a 36” tire. I LOVE it! It rides like smooth butter, altough I have air ride and that makes a big difference. The ONLY reason I’d spend the extra cash on the BDS is if you want the warranty protection they offer should the lift cause a problem with...
Getting to the end of this thread and not seeing some of the answers is how I felt at the cliffhanger of the KARR episode from Knight Rider. You’re killing me here!
I want to do this to either sag my rear about 1/2”. Or put my front up 1/2. The latter preferred. Will the stainless ball end DIY...
I mentioned to my wife I wanted a device that wirelessly connects CarPlay. I never mentioned a brand and she ended up buying this one for me. It works really good. I’ve noticed the occasional buffer if you will, for a split second. Other than that I can’t believe how good it works.
